(WTA) Formatting external HDD

Dear Sifu, I'm encounting difficulty to format my external HDD which I converted from an internal HDD.

The HDD are plug to a toaster dock and connect through USB3.0 to my notebook. When I try to perform format it will show my error message indicate I/O error.

I try to delete the disk volume via disk management and format from there and I have no luck on this way.

I'm totally frustrated and exhausted my venue to fix this HDD.

Your help are much appreciated.

Hi Guy,

Seeking your advice to compliment my research and decision either to upgrade or re-ram my current 3yrs old machine LGA775 platform run by Pentium D 3.4Ghz

Core i7 = RM3,600 ~ RM910
Core i3 = RM325 ~ RM500
Core i5 = RM545 ~ RM620

Which Platform to go Platform LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775 and or possibe LGA1155

1) Should I retain at LGA775 and just upgrade the brain to Core 2 Quad Q8300 or Q8400. Use it for few more year only re-ram the entire machine (Assume my present MB support the Q brain)

2) Upgrade the Brain to Core 2 Duo E7500 or Pentium Dual Core E6500 only and retain other component. Use it for few more year only re-ram machine.

3) Change new MB to Support Q brain (Presume If MB unable to support the Q brain).
(Good recommendation of MB is appreciated)

4) re-ram the entire machine and move the Core i5 650 LGA1156 platform. (Good recommendation of MB is appreciated)

Main use of my present computer are for document drafting, VB programing, some Illustrator work and store 1T of media file.

I hope the machine after the decision can work a bit more and to the lease I can play some of the market game like the Command and Conquer, SimCity and other 3D intensive game even I'm not a big computer game player but some time have free time to kill a few minute with game can cut the tension and stress.

Budget for MOB and Brain + GPU = RM1000 ~ RM1500

I'm planning to take up F6 and F9 for the coming June 2011 sitting hence I wonder do you guy have any good college recommendation.

Present in Mind is Kasturi College near by to KL city. Also considering MacOrange but the fees a bit expensive but if the class teacher are good will be ok too....

Last week I have a bad experience where my computer PSU fried by surge

I'm doing a survey for a new PSU and additional surge protection equipment for my computer.

In mind, would like to keep the budget around RM150 for each item.

Anyone can give me an advice on Engine damper for my Honda City 4.5G IDSI.

Pai Sai I only knew that the damper work to reduce vibration in engine and enhance engine response

Dear code master,

I need help to construct a vba code to run as below.

Amount Financed column define as TxtFinanced
Interest column define as TxtInterest
Interest column define as TxtPayable

Total Amount Payable column will automatically show sum of TxtFinanced & TxtInterest and appeared at Total Amount Payable column once both Financed and Interest been input value.

I'm trying to write code for my excel macro for some procedure but i just have a hard time to write.

I will appreciate if you can assit me in this matter.

Event:

Start from Workbook1 column C1 if IsEmpty = False
Than it will copy cell D1, E1, F1 & G1 from WorkBook[1] to WorkBook[2] cell A1, B1, C1 & D1

the condition will repeat the same condition for the next roll after C1 which is C2 > C3 > C4 until IsEmpty = True

Soft Log batch update to Locus

I’m having difficulty to run my batch file to automated import data (.txt) generated by Soft Log into my Locus System.

If anyone out there have deal with such situation your advice will be very helpful.
