Hi sifu, would like to ask, currently im using comprehensive etiqa insurance and want to renew it via maybank cus they can do installment.

Question is, if im planning to change the exhast headers, and new exhaust system, and possibly tuning to accomodate the new system, when and how do i declare it? Or do i even need to declare it?

Theres an option to choose whether you have mod the car, and if i choose yes, i cannot apply

WTA Manual Gearbox repair workshop

Hi Sifus,

Can recommend me any workshop near Kepong/KL/PJ that can work on Manual Gearbox? i have proton Inspira and it's 1st gear synchro is failing and i feel 2nd gear is following soon

All workshop i found on google maps mostly work Auto gearbox only.

Hard to shift out first gear

Hi sifus, need some help here.

I have a manual inspira and sometime its hard to shift out of first gear even though i have pushed the clutch completely in.

When this happens i either
1. Let the rpm go down, but this causes the car to slow down
2. Pump the clutch again, but it will jerks as its on first gear like in the attached vid
3. Blip the throttle while the clutch is pushed in.

I did option 3 more frequent as its the easiest of all 3, but im scared that it will mess up the clutch or the transmission.

I have brought my car to a mechanic and he suggested to change the transmission oil but that didnt solve it.

Second time i bring the car to the mechanic, he cannot reproduce the issue, weirdlt enough i also cannot reproduce the issue when the mechanic sit beside me. But the issue happen again after driving away from the workshop.

WTA Advise on my situation

Hi guys, would like to get feedback and advise on my situation.

Recently i found a used car that i really liked on FB. Test drove it, and brought the car to a mechanic, everything seems ok so i proceeded to gave the seller a deposit of 2.5k.

then, few days ago, i had a family gathering and told my story to my relatives where 2 of the uncles who is a used car dealer gave advise to do SCRUT test before finalizing it.

lo and behold, found out that the report is very very suspicious where a lot of N/A on the fields. they guess that the seller just recently changed the car plate no, which is true considering the car plate no format. they said it's a major red flags. the VIN report also all returns N/A for the fields.

Uncles suggest me dont buy cus maybe the car got issue d, maybe banjir or accident, or repo, etc

my fault is that i thought my homework to buy used car is finished once i brought to a mechanic. didn't knew that SCRUT can be so important.

I then proceeded to call the seller the next day that i would like to cancel the deal, but mentioned that i have money issues instead, but the seller kept pressing to proceed with the balance as he has done the PUSPAKOM and thumbprint, used all of the 2.5k, and mentioning that i promised the seller to buy the car, etc etc.

Any advise here?

Unifi fibre lagging badly for Dragon Nest Sea

Hi Lowyat sifus,

Any Unifi or telco experts here can explain and help why dragon nest is very lag especially their PVP mode.
it's either packet loss or lag cause i can see my opponent blinking here and there

it seems like im the one who's lagging because dragon nest so called support told me that there are unstable connection issue from my ISP which is Unifi.

I tried using my another laptop connecting to my network, still the same. (im playing on PC)

I tried playing using my laptop on my friend network( also unifi), still the same lag.

im using 300mbps and im the only one using it. no downloading no opening youtube, only opening the game.

Sign SnP before Getting loan approved?

Hi LYN sifus, I need some advice here

So basically, I found an undercon project that I really liked but my most of my loan is rejected, because the banker said that I just moved job from freelancing to travel industry company, so I might be under probation or somewhat.

Then the SA said that the developer will cancel my booking if you won't sign the SPA in few days since I have booked the unit for 1 month plus already and this unit is selling like hot cakes. the SA showed their excel sheet, showing all unit is red except for my unit. and there's a lot of customers on the waiting list.

When I explained my situation to the SA, they said that I can sign the SPA first then look for loan again few months later after you get confirmed in the company.

What I'm worried is, what if I signed the SPA, but I can't get any loan approved? will there be any charges against me, like the developer suing me or something.

pls halp. I really really like this unit :'(
