When I was buying nasi lemak this morning, instead of using a spoon or a ladle to handle the food, the stall makcik grabbed the egg, kacang, bilis and timun with her fingers and threw them into my nasi lemak. She was carrying out more duties than just serving nasi lemak so I was pretty sure those hands had been everywhere without being properly washed. There were lots of people around so because i did not want to cause a scene, I paid up and left it on one of the tables.

I did not want to get hepatitis because of one dirty makcik. How come this is allowed to happen?

Why do all topics to be posted have to go through the moderators first before they could appear on the main forum?

I realise there is a need for control but at the same time, there is no way to know what passes the moderators' fancy. The topics that may not be of interest to the moderators may be incredibly riveting to others.

So instead of acting with impunity with regards to what goes and what doesn't, why not move a topic if it's not deemed fit for discussion elsewhere.

i would like to bring this thread to the attention of the board admin.

i dont know if its against the rules of the board per se , but its regarding a scheme into bringing people into the UK to work by exploiting the loophole in the system.

i dont think LYN would want to condone the advertisement of such a "service".

they purport to be running a college where they run one year "academic programmes" where the "students" only attend classes for one month and are given 11 month "holidays" in order to enable thme to work full time.

they want to take in as many "students" as poosible, obviously to maximise their cashflow.

this will have an effect on honest malaysians who are in the UK for real honest reasons and one day, malaysians may not even me able to enter the UK for short visits without applying for visa beforehand.

Please take into consideration the context of the post rather then the post in its isolation.

1. I started a thread asking why Malaysian cars don't come with airbags as standard to encourage a proper (if informal) discussion on the situation.

2. wild_card_my, who is famous for her habits of turning every thread she posts in into a racial mudslinging accuses me of trying to flamebaiting the posters into bashing the government and Proton. If anything, she was the one who baited me into an argument (which she always does with non-muslims btw).

3. Check the rest of my posts in that particular thread. They were completely polite and civilised.

4. wild_card_my claimed to have the answers but did not contribute towards the question, she chose to attack me instead.

5. wild_card_my openly condemns anything that does not fit into her religious ideals (eg drinking etc) and is very self-righteous and condescending about it as opposed to constructive and polite while delivering her reasons, whatever they may be.

6. I was admittedly harsh with my post but harshness does not equate to flaming. Please take particular note of this.

7. I cannot believe I was suspended for mere profanities while I see racially-incindiary threads (which I purposely chose not to participate in) being allowed to continue.

This is not intended to malign anyone, I just wish to see a more just and engaged enforcement of moderation policies and wielding of punishments.

I'm lookin to replace my old tired phone with a new one, preferably one with a 2MP camera. I took a look at these two (Z610i and Z558i) and I quite like their clamshell shape. Prices quoted for Z610i are about rm800, is this about right? I am not sure how much Z558i is so I wonder if anyone could help me out. Anyone with experience with these 2 phones? If you think there's a better bargain out there (good phones with 2MP cameras), feel free to tell me. Thanks.
