Hacker run ads using my account on Facebook

My Facebook account was hacked last week. (I'm using Google authenticator but it doesn't help)

I changed my password but one day later I found out the hacker was using my ads account to run ads.

I checked the payment method and noticed it was not my credit card. So I suspect the hacker is charging the ads on a victim's credit card.

I deactivated my Facebook account for 2 days. Unfortunately, the hacker was still able to run ads.

Now I'm thinking of permanently deleting my Facebook account, which is fine with me. However, any precautions should I do before doing it?

30 y.o./male here

I found a job that pays similarly to my current job but comes with better career advancement and I can meet people who could be potential clients for my future business that I am preparing.

However, it is a new company. Its sales plummeted last year due to the pandemic. It did show signs of improvement after the MCO lifted but with the COVID-19 cases increasing now, and the MCO back, I am pretty sure the sales will be impacted again.

So, I have a current job that has little career advancement but very secure (linked to government) and a potential job that has career advancement but pretty insecure.

What would you do if you were in my position?

Take the risk or hold onto the current job until the pandemic is over?

I guess it really boils down to your appetite for risks but I just want to hear it from you guys.

Burnout of open world games

After finishing some open-world games especially Witcher 3 (without switching games in between), I am tired of them and now mostly stick to linear games. And what a great enjoyment it was, from RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake, RE7, Hellblade to now starting A Plague's Tale. For one thing, storytelling is more refined and well-paced in these games and I am really invested in the characters. Not saying open-world games are bad, Witcher 3 was great but I am kinda burnout of having the pressure of clearing side quests (reminds me of work). Urgh. Will return to them one day though, maybe Red Dead Redemption 2, heard it's awesome.

Online Seller can cross state?

I am an online seller based in Penang. I have a customer in Ipoh willing to buy my second-hand laptop but only cash upon delivery as he wanted to test the laptop first.

I heard you can apply online with MITI for a special permit to cross state for this reason? Anyone knows how?

My company is registered with SST, if that mattered.

Selling to a buyer from Facebook Market

I am selling one of my spare monitor on Facebook Marketplace. I have reached an agreeable price with a buyer. What are the tips or things that I should avoid?

Few things off my head at the moment:

1. Meet in a public place such as a shopping mall to deliver the goods (for safety purpose)

2. Insist on receiving payment before handing over the goods (Edit: I should add that I am okay with the buyer checking the item before payment. Thanks for the reminder.)

3. Insist on online payment instead of CoD (Is fake money still a serious concern in Penang? Any reason CoD is safer than online payment? )

Any opinion is much appreciated.

Shopee seller asked to edit review

A couple of months ago, I received a damaged item but the seller on Shopee was very unresponsive. He or she ignored all of my questions and just threw link to claim warranty without saying anything else, literally. The item cost me RM 400 and I was unable to claim warranty because the item was physically damaged (before delivered to me).

After 2 agonizing weeks, I resorted to emailing the CEO directly with evidence and the problem was solved within an hour with the CEO agreed to give me an exchange unit immediately.

However, I had leave a 1-star review on the Shopee page before contacting the CEO. The review highlighted 2 things:
1. Seller very unresponsive
2. My problem was not solved (at that time)

Now, the seller texted me to edit the review. He/she claimed the customer service has solved my problem. Obviously, that was not what happened. It was the CEO who solved my problem.

What would you do in my stead?

My impulse is to ignore the seller. Honestly, if it were not for the CEO's fast and sincere response, I would not entertain the idea of replying the seller at all.

Anyone discover Shopee goods damaged

I was building a PC so I ordered a monitor from Shopee. The appearance of the monitor looks okay. No dent or crack to suggest defect. I only discovered the monitor is damaged after finish building my PC (takes time for various parts to arrive) and turning it on. The left side of the monitor is damaged and just blank.

Too bad for me, the Shopee Guarantee is expired. However, I should be able to claim warranty, according to the seller's product page. The problem is the seller is not responding to me so I contacted Shopee support. They say they need 3 working days to follow up with the seller on my behalf.

Ah, I just dread this waiting period, especially after the excitement of finally building my PC. Anyone in a similar situation before? Did you successfully claim your warranty?

[Edit: There IS a crack on the monitor, confirmed by HP Malaysia. Wasn't obvious to me so I missed it]

So ayam being paying back ptptn steadily every month for the past few years. Then suddenly received warning letter from PTPTN saying I no pay back my pinjamin 2. It's a relatively small amount but ayam curious what is Pinjamin 2?
