I am talking about those many optometrist shops selling spectacles.
Can they be trusted to give honest service?
Some times they give free eye check ups.
Do they push sell you by saying you need to wear spectacles?
Maybe eyesight power not so good but still manageable so wearing spectacles is optional not mandatory.

Assuming using the same reasoning for the polis permit.

Hi K experts,
My home ceiling fans ( those typical Malaysian pipit home type - National brand )
Why is it the regulator if on Speed 1 is too slow, but speed 2 is too fast ?
Is it wrong capacitor sizing?
Or Motor problem?

Floor Parquet

My double storey house already more than 20yo.
Upstairs floor parquet - the old fashion style abou 1/2" x 4" size
Maybe due to aircond and hot/cold weather.
The parquet got loosen and came off the floor.
Anyone experience this?
Currently, I use transparent tape to tape back.
Any better recommendation?

House Extended Kitchen

Currently my extended kitchen roof is from the asbestos sheet design material.
After about twenty years - it look worn out and some sheets like almost peel off.
Bad choice.

Moving forward, need to do renovation.
Thinking of these two options:
1. Replace the roof with those typical tiles that you see for Malaysian houses.
2. Go for a flat roof, concrete roof. Advantage of flat roof is tat, I can put one stainless steel water tank on top of the roof. As back up in case of water cut in my area.
Any concern about flat roof? I am sure it is more pricey.

Any sharings of experiences guys?

GLAUCOMA

My eye specialist diagnosed me and raised a concern of possible glaucoma.
The optic nerve doesn't seem like normal healthy colour on both eyes.
At this juncture, there are two possibilities: Aging or onset of Galucoma.
The doctor need to further observe few months later to see any more deterioration.

I googled: Glaucoma can be treated if discovered earlier before more damage done.
Anyone with experience can share info?
I want a second opinion , amybe a hospital with more advanced canggih equipment for screening.
Don't want to go blind.

For those who have not check; please refer your eye specialist for glaucoma screening.

Is whiskey cooling or heaty for the body?
What I know :
Beer is cooling and brandy is heaty.
I tried Dewar's 12 years in my friend's house.
A few sips and take small bites of bitter cholocate.
The combination is really nice.
Can really savour the nice whiskey.
But is whiskey heaty for the body if to consume a few glasses on weekly basis?
