[Solved] Same brand RAMs but different Manuf

Good day, i have some questions regarding RAMs.

[Edit: Attachments removed because solved, anyway everything is the same including the frequencies, only different Manufacturers and Ranks]

So the thing is, i bought my PC like 2 years back, comes with the 16gb RAM (Adata DDR4 2666 Single rank) <[Currently in Slot 3]

and very recently i upgraded it to 32gb total with another stick of RAM after quite a bit of reading (but still quite clueless), anyway i went for the same brand, same speed, same capacity. [Currently in Slot 1]

What i didn't expect is, this time i received one that is Dual rank. Different manufacturer too. (Bought from Adata Malaysia)

The questions:
1. Is this still going to run in Dual Channel mode? If yes, should i put the Single Rank at slot 1 or slot 3?
2. Is it going to mess up the performance or give me crashes when i'm doing my shits? (Easily use up to 20gb RAM)
Additional question:
My MB is B450m ds3h, i have looked around but found nothing too concrete, the question is, do i use Slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 to get the best out of it? I know it should be quite identical but one of it is very slightly better than another, anyway i'm simply using 1 and 3 for now as shown.

New keyboard Steelseries

I have recently bought a Steelseries Apex 5 keyboard and have already returned the item 2 times, it is really a bit late but i really need help if there are any experts or experienced users here.

Either with checking the issue or fixing it, before i try to return it again..

The problem is ghosting issue and some combinations and order of key pressing and holding do not work, for example:

Press and hold N key, then proceed to press and hold RIGHT and UP/DOWN arrow keys, result = either RIGHT or UP/DOWN arrow key will not be registered,
if i press and hold RIGHT and UP/DOWN arrow keys before N, then the N key will not be registered, even if i spam it.

Anyone have any idea what is actually wrong? I have other WAY cheaper and common keyboards and they do not have this issue AT ALL.
And i don't even know if there are any other combinations that do not work like the stated example. Actually can't be sure if this is really ghosting issue at all..

In no way i'm seeking comfort here or wanting you to blow smoke up my ass.

But is it normal for someone to lose trust the harder the other is trying to prove himself that he is totally at that someone's side?

Is it my problem? To prevent confusion i'll just say that i'm the one trying to prove myself to another important ally of mine, that someone also happened to be someone i consider 2/5 friend 2/5 colleague 1/5 superior.
Well for that someone i might very well be only 0/5 friend, 1/5 colleague, 4/5 employee.

Surely you guys do not know the actual and full situation, but i'm just absolutely disgusted and baffled of this shit.
The relationship is beyond any saving now but man,

Need advice to prepare your throat for singing

Hi guys, i need advice and tips on how to get your throat ready for singing.

I have an important recording coming up in few days and so far my voice sounds like shit and the pitch are all messed up.

There's likely no immediate solution for this because singing takes years of practice to get good at, and i have never really tried to sing seriously before, i get sore throat and my voice becomes hoarse very easily.

Not sure how to put this the right way lol, but i'll try to take any working tips and advice.

Hi guys, not sure if this thing is possible but, i need to find out my friend's bank account number without him knowing.

Reason = i want bank in money for him of course, and as a surprise at the same time. (no he won't accept cash, lol)

Despite him being a friend, i have only limited information regarding such thing, i mean that's probably the same for most people.

I have his full name, his IC number and i know which bank he is using, think these info are enough? Or it was never possible to do such thing?

So i'm just thinking, how do you feel around this kind of friend?

A friend that is popular and good with ALMOST everyone, and can literally be with everyone with zero exception if he/she puts in a little effort.

From the scale of -1 to 11
How good do you feel by being one of their friend?
With -1 being the "Shittiest experience ever, i regret ever trusting him/her, no matter how little"
With 11 being the "Wow best friend ever, i'm so glad to be born just in time to know him/her"

Explain your rating if possible.

To be fair, i'll start:
For me i guess maybe 3 or 4?
I met like 4 of them before (May God help me so i don't encounter more of them). To me, this kind of friend is not very reliable or trustworthy. They make you feel like you're just another spare tyre/stock/another pair of shoes/an addition to their "friend bank", and i'm pretty sure most of them actually think that way as well, it's not hard to tell with a little observation.
Of course, since they are also human being, they have their own "friends" which is what they would really call friend and stick to them, and you are not one of them and you are most definitely not their priority.
I'll definitely avoid this kind of people if i know beforehand.
I won't go so far as "if you are not with me, then you are against me", but i find this kind of people to be really annoying, and cancerous. Could be just me though.
This is also pretty obvious but, i'm not the said kind of friend, i make it clear whether if i want to get along with someone.
Edit: I'm still friends with them, except i care even less about them than they care about me, if not for my latest encounter i wouldn't even remember them LMAO.

Nope this is not a rage thread, i just want to find out how people think, and then possibly learn something.

Asus Window Corrupted

This laptop of mine, i left it in sleep mode before i head to work. Later i came home i just press on the power button to start it like usual, i do this everyday.

Except today is different, it won't start and it says there Asus scanning and repairing drive, although no ides wtf is going on, i treated it like those forced window updates and just waited for it to end.
It did come to an end but here comes the problem.

Afterward if not mistaken it restarted by itself, then it shows the Asus logo and the loading thing spinning below, it loads for about 10mins or something for the next thing to happen. Which is boom, black screen and cursor that i can move around.

I restarted many many times and it's still the same, i think i wasted my time. I have also tried the infinite guides on the nets which they all talk about ctrl alt and delete or ctrl shift esc to attempt to get the task manager to appear then run safe mode etc. Thing is those 2 sets of button does nothing, now what do i do?

I should also add that there's like 0.3 second appearance of a window tab each time AFTER the Asus logo loading stage, which is too fast for my eyes and i don't think i can do anything to it too.

I contacted an IT technician and she said it could be one of the two reasons below.
1. Hard disk is damaged and i will need to replace it to something quick, like a SSD.
2. The window has issue and all she has to do for me is backup my shits then format it. And she will take away my laptop for a day to do it which i don't feel so secure.
Aside from helping me with the issue, do you guys think the technician can be trusted? (yeah sorry that i'm a bit paranoid) Is it really going to take that long?

Edit: Update! After leaving it black screen for a long time, now there's a new thing but i'm again stuck.
It says there:
Choose your keyboard layout
I clicked on the first option which is US and it is again stuck.

After some long long loading, it now has a new page but i forgot to take photo of that screen, but i had options to choose what to do, like System Restore etc, although i have no idea what are the consequences or what will happen if i click that, that looked like the safest thing to click and so i did. But i'm now stuck in Aptio Setup Utility, unable to exit. I don't even know what is this thing for.. I need explanations and help.. Do i lose any files from all these?

Birthday gift suggestion for Manager

Hi all, i would like to hear your opinions on my ideas and your suggestions if you have any.

This manager of mine is a capable, kind, helpful and married woman in her 30s, and this is probably the first time i wanted to buy a gift for my colleague at work for real so i have no experience in this kind of shit. (we're both ching chongs but she appears to be a Buddhist if these matter)
She's like one of those people that lacks nothing ordinary (just like most experienced managers out there, lol)

My intention is just about showing my appreciation and hopefully encourage her at the same time. Nothing bullshit like trying to get her to pull me up in the company or any sort, but hey, it'd be nice if she does, lol! (we both work 8-5 in an office job)
However i don't think i'll be staying in the company for that much longer, so i guess i don't really care about that sort of thing. (not sure if these information are needed for the gift but i'll just leave them here)

So the childish me had a few ideas but i'm not really sure, let me know what you think too. I still have time to prepare by the way, it's not happening that soon.

1. Sticky brand candy (i heard it's not that nice to eat though, lol)

2. Personalized pen with her name engraved (if this is good then i will need recommendations)

3. Candy again, but i will buy multiple imported brands of candy then i mix and then fit them into some sort of decent looking container (this way i can at least taste first if the candy is shit)

4. No gift, but get a few people together to buy a cake for her, those people might know what kind of cake she likes.

5. Cake still, but i gift her something in private (what do i give though?)

Money is not really a problem, but i do know that giving expensive stuff will not be good, it's really not like she needs anything, lol.
My first idea was candy because i feel like she can put in office and share with others, i've also seen her getting candy from people that have "stock". (actually, this happens to most people right?)

I'll be here for about 1 week before i decide, really nervous already though.

Chair recommendation for me. Best is below RM300 (a little over is fine too, just throw your suggestions). For computer use(at home of course), wouldn't say gaming chair but i do play games, will need it to be relatively lasting, more comfortable compared with a standard shitty plastic chair, it also has to be not harmful to my back and spine (best if the chair corrects my sitting pose instead), next i guess i need it to be not become smelly after using it for a long time, if it does then at least i hope it's washable, and the last thing i want is buying a chair that burns my butt then making it sweat, my room is not air conditioned. And hopefully i can distract myself with my own interest long enough to pick a nice gift for my lady manager.

Candy suggestion as gift

Hi guys, i'm in need of some recommendations for quality candy (hopefully not wrong section), as gift.
It would be best if i can buy it in Sarawak but if not then i don't mind buying online too as long the candy doesn't melt or some shit during the delivery, i mean it's a gift, so yeah.

Don't know the price range for "quality candy" but i guess i don't mind spending up to RM100, or RM200 if it's that good.

Few points to help you guys to guide me:
1. It's a gift for a woman, i guess the age is about 30 (if that matters at all)
2. I don't know what flavor she likes, so it might be good to get something that has multiple flavors, oh, when i say candy i mean something like Sticky Candy, which is also my last resort if i cannot get any good recommendations after a set period.
3. How to put it, it has to be tasty, lol, tasty but not diabetes level and best you don't get tired of eating it that easily.
4. Best for them to be fit inside bottle or container like Sticky Candy, less litter and more classy look, unless you have better suggestion, i'm open to it.
5. I guess the last thing will be about the candy not melting easily when it's placed indoor (office) when the air conditioner is not open, well the office is open from Mon to Fri and 8-5.
6. Yeah i'm serious, do add some comments or elaborate if you suggest anything.

Living away from home alone in Kuching, Sarawak

Hi guys, this probably isn't really about traveling but i'm planning to live away from home in Kuching, Sarawak. But then i don't really have any idea about the expense of living alone and about how much Ringgit i should save up for me to make the plan happen. Sounds like a dumb plan and place to post this but i'm in need of tips and advice.

How much would a small single room here with utilities cost me per month for example?
I need some of the basic things like table and chair plus a mattress, water heater in the bathroom, and maybe Wifi plus a fridge.
I'm not looking for a room at the moment, it's just a plan and i need to know how much i need to save up, and how much i should expect to pay monthly.
As for area i guess i prefer inside Ang Cheng Ho area (i plan to work there)

So it's actually like this..

Someone that is still my friend but living in other state, as his hometown is different than mine, is trying to hire me to work under him in his hometown. He was my colleague in few companies before, and was once my manager. Hiring me means he will become my boss, he is now working with and for himself plus shareholders and apparently he has yet to get hire any proper full time employee. Meaning if i go, i would be the one and only, until he decides to hire more or fire me or both.

Now of course as strangers you guys don't know my friend and me nor our personalities, but i would like to still ask for opinions and advice, from those experienced and those without experience, can tell me what you think.

For example:
What should i look out for? The downsides and dangers or something like that?
Should i take up his offer at all? Offer is seriously not bad but it's so decent that i feel suspicious about it.
Anything other things that you feel like sharing just let me know below.

It wouldn't be right to ask complex stuff like this without more information for you guys, so here's some:
We're known each other for like 10 years, i do feel that he's good and trustworthy, but it's been a while since we last met.
His company is quite new and started for like 1 year+ already, legit business of course.
I'm quite shit and don't really deserve salary of that amount, he should know that as well but still not changing his mind about the good offer.

Questions about Pos Malaysia

Hey guys, sorry about the vague title and i'm not even sure if this is the right section to post in, but could i borrow your experience and knowledge about this for a moment?

Ashamed that i've never used it even once until now, actually tried Pos Laju once but i'm not really urgent to have my things delivered this time, just worried about the price and the quality of service maybe.

They do have a website ready for you to check the price etc, but i'm just really paranoid and don't have time to lose/ actually going to one of the branch to confirm with the staffs there, friends also gave me different answer each person lol, so i need your help here.

So let's say if i want to deliver a box of clothes mixed with various things like: tupperwares, kitchenwares and tools plus some other junks, total weight like 10kg to 20kg with a kind of large box (not sure if size matters), let's say 19 to 20kg then, from KL to Sarawak, by land/sea. The stated price there is RM34.00, which sounds too good to be true to me, what are your thoughts about this?

Also wonder if branch matters?

How long it would take since it's not "laju" anymore?

How safe my things would be?

Some questions regarding Diploma in English

I'm curious about the course and what kind of job i can get with that certificate, as well as if it is worth it nowadays?

I assume you learn english and some communication skills to an extent then later teach english, but is that all it takes to become an english teacher? What level of student do i teach? Kindergarden? Primary school? High school?

What other jobs could i get with that diploma cert?

What else to know about the course and the cert?

Or you guys have anything to add?
