APU or Sunway for computing courses

Hello everyone, Im a SPM leaver and looking to further my studies in computing field (CS Cyber security or Software Engineering or IT)
I am looking to do Diploma then degree.
So the cost for the studies is almost the same in both Sunway (Monash foundation) and APU. Education advisor websites suggest APU as their #1 choice but after doing some research in Facebook and Lowyat there are some negative comments (Some are from before the new campus was opened).

So, i need some advice wheather Sunway or APU would be a good choice and why.

Matching amp with subwoofer

hello, can anyone confirm if the amp i chose supports my woofer?
Below are the details of my amp and subwoofer. I already own the subwoofer, looking for buy an amp for it.

Subwoofer: Rockford Fostage P1 4Ohms/ 150W RMS/ 300W Peak

Amplifier: Sony XM-N502 500W / 175W 4ohms (Bridge)

Wrong firmware flashed in AC1200

Hello, so yesterday unifi technicians came around and they noticed that EU firmware was flashed instead of their TM firmware and they reflashed it with v2 firmware. (I guess they wanted to reflash with their tm firmware and they messed it up)) The router they provide is v1. So, I tried to brick the router so it will give the system error and i tried to flash both the TM and EU firmware and it would give 'Upgrade error, The firmware is not compatible with the AC1200 router' but, flashing it with v2 eu firmware it works, on a v1 hardware.. weird. I tried TFTP, my computer doesn't seem to respond to it, it doesn't work. I doubt if the unifi technicians know about their own stuffs? With v2 firmware, the maximum speed is 10mbps wired and the 2.4/5 wireless leds are blinking and wifi is working with max 10mbps in both 2.4/5. Is there any workarounds to flash it back with v1 eu firmware or tm firmware?

Luckily, i had another ac1200 router lying around so im currently using it.

Subwoofer suggestions for amplifier

Hi, i have this amplifier (Alfa Linear AL320.4) in my car, the previous owner installed it, but the subwoofer isnt working. The amp has power going through it, so its still fine. Any ideas on what subwoofers supports the amp? Not sure how to select a subwoofer for the amp since there is watts and ohms matters..

100mbps on a gigabit connection

Hi everyone, i have the Unifi 500mbps Turbo Upgrade plan and few days back, TM technicians came over to change my router to gigabit router. So, now my problem is, my router is upstairs and my PC is downstairs. So back when i upgraded from streamyx to unifi, TM did the wiring for me to route the lan wire from upstrairs(router) to downstairs(PC) goes through ceiling. Infact, they used cat5e cable (label on the pc end side). But, now under the ethernet properties, it is showing 100.0 Mbps. I tried bringing the pc upstairs(connect directly to the router using cat5e) it showed 1.0 Gbps instead of 100.0 Mbps and got ~490 download. I'm also using a Gigabit network card. Any ideas to fix it?

Science Stream

Im currently in science stream and i wanna do IT or CS. I dont think both need Chemistry and Biology (Physics, not sure) for that.I had no choice but i had to go to science stream but does it affect my chances pursing my studies later if i didnt do well in those subject. (Getting around passing mark or credit)?

Wireless Bridging over two routers.

Hi, I would like to connect another router(probably a TP Link router, will flash DDWRT) to my primary router ( DIR 615 flashed with DDWRT) . Is it possible? Are any alternative but not too expensive?

This is what i wanted. (Picture).My router is up stairs, my tv and speaker system are down and has Ethernet port (no wifi).

I have a ADSL modem laying around, can i use it as wireless bridge for my unifi?

I know its two different connection but is it possible? The ADSL modem is DB108WL, which is a streamyx modem.

Hi, Like a month ago, i successfully flashed DDWRT on my DIR615 G2 but it doesnt come with usb support and i cant install the usb function because i cant enable jffs due to lack of flash memory. Does the OpenWRT comes with usb support?

PPPOE Recovery

Hi,

I'm currently trying to install DD-WRT to my unifi router (DIR-615, orange and white version) but i couldn't find my PPPOE id and pass.

I tried the snmpwalk and html inspect method from a thread but i couldnt recover it and i have deleted the email we receive when we first register.

Now, the only way is i think contacting TM Support to recover.I am not sure if installing custom firmware is illegal but if they ask why i need the pppoe id, what should i say?

And, installing DDWRT voids the warranty and cant access to HyppTv, if i want support and hypptv back, can i install the stock firmware and load the backup config file and get everything to normal like before installing DD-WRT and with ddwrt, home line will be working fine right? As i assume home line is not connected to router.

PS: the bold line is my question^^
