Appointing Pos Malaysia as agent for JB customs

Hi. Wanted to ask if anyone has experience with appointing Pos Malaysia as agent with the JB customs? How long do they take to respond? The JB customs at Larkin are truly uncontactable - I have tried close to 5 different numbers from morning till evening for the past two days and no one picks up.

On 23rd January, I saw on online tracking that my parcel was held by customs (import) and sent to JB for retrieval. Subsequently, I received the summon letter by post on the 29th January.

As I am from the northern part of Johor, heading to JB would be very time-consuming so I decided to appoint Pos Malaysia as an agent. I emailed the customs as per their email address on the letter pljb_customs@poslaju.com.my - stating that I would like to appoint Pos Malaysia as a agent with all the letters of purchase and invoice as evidence of the price of the parcel.

No one replied to my email appointing Pos Malaysia as an agent, which I sent on Wednesday. I decided to call them on Sunday just to enquire regarding the status of my parcel and no one picked up. Same thing yesterday and today.

So I just wanted to ask how long do they generally take to respond to e-mails? I have read posts that they only take 1 hour to respond, but that was 5 years back.

Ps. This is my first time having a parcel held by customs.
