Anyone used PosStore before? My parcel is missing

Basically a friend sent me a parcel via PosStore.

Few days later their rider said parcel delivered but when I checked with my condo security guard, they said there was no record of the rider ever coming on that day. Condo have a policy to record down all incoming parcels but no record for this rider. That's #1.

Secondly rider claims he dropped off the parcel at midday yesterday, however it was raining throughout the whole afternoon during that time, so I highly doubt the rider would risk getting the box parcel wet in the rain as my lobby isn't properly covered at the drop off area.

Third thing is rider also had no proof (picture/video/WA messages) to show item has been delivered at my place. The only photo as taken from insider the car with all the other packages. This to me doesn't prove item was delivered because it doesn't show my condo as the destination received.

I've texted the branch that handled the delivery and the staff keep asking me back to show proof that their rider didn't come (i.e. go check your CCTV see of my rider is not there at that time - but I cannot because CCTV was down temporarily). I feel the initiative should be from their side instead to show the rider has came, not me to find evidence that the rider didn't come. After a lot of to and fro, I asked them to give rider number I can speak to rider directly, to which they then stopped replying.

I think what likely happened is the rider declared ahead of time that parcel is delivered, but in reality likely delayed due to rain. But when I asked further, instead of owning up or offering to correct the situation, they just ignore us. Ultimately we still don't have our parcel, and there is no accountability or communication from them. Where is our parcel? Maybe even thrown at some rubbish bin so no more follow up needed.. haiz. I'm just very, very disappointed already.

Anyone has encountered similar situation before?

What can I do about it?

Who can I complain about this matter to for accountability purposes?

Are there any insurance for thos type of losses?

The item inside are very important to us.

Cheapest way to send postcard to Australia?

Hi all, planning to send postcard to a friend that recently migrated to Australia, went to Mailboxes Etc DPC this morning and was told it cost RM120++ to send a letter there. Too expensive so didn't proceed.

Can I ask anyone knows how much & how to send that's cheaper? It's a yearly Christmas card, a tradition we've been doing so I'm OK if it takes 2 weeks or so. Definitely no need to pay premium for urgent delivery.

Any restrictions to fly domestic from KL to Sabah

Hi all,

Bought the AirAsia unlimited domestic flights package earlier this year, and already booked & paid for some flights to Sabah in coming months. I've concerns might not be allowed entry upon arrival, or worse, be straight away put into quarantine for 14 days because of sitting on airplane. Trying to seek help to understand & evaluate the risk before proceeding with the trips.

Wanted to ask, any frequent fliers between KL/Sabah here can share:

1. Do I need to do 14 days mandatory quarantine upon arrival if coming from KL for domestic tourism purposes (Under current RMCO regulations)
2. Any exemptions categories for work/professional related purposes?
3. Anyone has flown to from KL/Sabah recently? Hows the process involved post MCO?
4. Need to do covid19 swab test to enter Sarawak?
5. Any other info

I know this is the second time they are doing this. First time lots of backlash, but that's in part due to unforseen circumstances of MCO.

As they say, hindsight is 20-20.

I was one of them who thought it was only suckers who fall for Tony's marketing gimmicks.

But now come to think of it, if I can do 2 flights to KK to eat seafood & tarbao back fresh tuna. Considered worthwhile already.

In the end, bought because I don't want to be the sucker that missed a deal twice. Buy la buy la.

Property sifus out there claiming their prediction 99% bull run already.

But this time last year, pre Covid19 pre government drama and all, the sentiment was properties was overpriced and over supply.

Now suddenly government intervention then people become hungry for property again.

But are we playing against the fundamentals? Salary hardly increase, spending power same. Not any more appealing to foreign investment either.

Could this bull run end up becoming a bigger deeper hole?

Recently I read got HOC program to waive stamping fees for properties. To be honest it's really exciting. However, I was informed by my agent only some properties have HOC, while others don't have. Can I ask what other incentives first time buyers can apply too ya? Want to one shot apply all haha, if not then later wasted opportunity..

Hi all, just joined yesterday after my friend introduce Low Yat forum. Lovely and useful discussion!

Wanted to ask round of opinion here about a offer I got from a property consultant for a landed deal near Damansara. I'm not familiar with Damansara (I'm from Perak, studied and still staying at Setapak) but considering buying because double storey landed under RM550k new launch. Dream house for me as I'm engaged and looking to settle down in next 2 years.

He said it's easily 10% below market price (dunno y so cheap) - apparently subsale there going for RM650k. Still no time to visit, maybe will go this weekend with my fiance to see. The only details he provide is it's called Idaman Putra at Bukit Rahman Putra. 20x70 and freehold land, RM3000 to book with 10% discount. VP around 2020. Said it's very new launch and only he has special cable to developer so give me first.

My questions:
1. Is this good price or am I overpaying for something not mentioned? Sorry not familiar so hope to seek opinion here.
2. Anyone knows who is the developer? He mentioned over phone but I forgot. Wonder if developer can trust or not.
3. Anyone staying here can share what is the "lifestyle" here like? I heard it's more Malay area, it's true then difficult for us Chinese..
4. Lastly, would this area still have price to go up in future? I plan to buy landed property to raise family so it will be for long term. Need to make sure can make money after 5-10 years at lease.

Overall just want to seek extra advice if this is good deal or did I miss something before I commit with booking fees. Really appreciate any feedback for above questions.
