Maxis postpaid registration

Hi,

I recently tried to migrate my expired prepaid number to post-paid. I contacted Maxis call centre a number times last month, and they have helped me with the process and shipped a SIM card to me. I have recently received the SIM. Immediately upon receiving it, I called Maxis to get this new SIM activated, which was last week. They mentioned that it should get activated by this week. However, we are already near the end of this week, but my line is still not activated yet. When I try to call Maxis yesterday and today, the call does not get connected even though it appears to be ring from one ext line to another, probably people are working from home due to lock down.

Anyone has any suggestion how I could get my SIM card activated, please? I can PM with my SIM card # or my hp number for reference.

Living in Sydney

I came to Sydney initially for a 2-year work, but ended up staying back way longer than expected. Since I grew up and completed all my studies in Msia before arriving, I have no school or uni friends here to meet up to talk about world happenings.. err small talk.

I typically find Aussies are a tight-knit community and a bit difficult to establish solid friendships. I work in IT, and office is in CBD close to Pitt St Mall. Hotlink prepaid account terminated

I have been using a Hotlink prepaid account for a while, nearly 10 years probably. For the last few years, even though I have been working overseas, I have been topping up my Hotlink account diligently. However, after some mishap and being hospitalised, I missed topping up the account last month. Early this month, my hotilnk account was terminated! I had more than RM160 credit.

As soon as I realiased that, I called Maxis support line. They said they can't reactivate it. Instead, they suggested that they can reclaim the number and requested me to sign up for a postpaid plan. Since this is the only option they proposed to me, I decided to pursue it. However, after multiple follow up calls, the assigned customer support representative is either away on holiday or unable to progress this matter for whatever reason.

Is anyone able to assist me to get my hp number back, please? I can PM the number and other details as needed. I am still overseas and will not be back in country in a next few months due to work.

Gift for my pregnant wife

Hi,

My wife is pregnant with our second child and experiencing quite a severe morning sickness (MS). Our first child is a 2 year old boy. My wife is looking after our son mostly by herself, until I get home after work. Neither of our family members are around to provide a hand, so it is extremely tiring for her especially due to the MS. I would like to give a nice present to remind her of her amazing sacrifices and the great reward of an expanded family that await us. What gift would be suitable for a pregnant lady? It would be good to get thoughts from pregnant ladies as well..

Use balance to top up pre-paid?

Hi,

I am currently overseas for a prolonged period. I am using Maybank2U to top up my prepaid Hotlink account to keep the number active. Even though this prepaid number is still active and able to roam, I do not use this phone often and as such, its balance has built up quite a bit. Is it possible to top up my account using the credit balance?
