I have an interest in both subjects and as of now I feel like Illustration is my passion but only because I have some familiarity with it, whereas Digital Animation is still a pretty unexplored area.

I'm thinking of enrolling in Illustration just because it seems like a safer option for me to get good grades and submit better results but my mom prefers it if I enroll in DigiAnim because it's easier for an animator to work in an illustrative area in the future than it is for an illustrator to animate solely because illustration won't learn the softwares animators do. Which makes sense in a way.

I need to submit my choice by the end of the month, yet I'm still very conflicted. Inputs or thoughts on this?
