Want to study Java

Hi all experts

I am very interested and also want to know how to do some programming / coding / software developing.

The reason is becuz i had an idea of a software which i want to make it useable in android platform.

I am looking at probably Java to develop this.

Now my background is
1. Science student graduate during high school
2. Business admin graduate in university

Been almost 10+ years since i last touch complex calculation such as calculus and etc.... and i had 0 knowledge on coding /programming.

So,
1. Do u think it is best for me to learn java online for free ? Such as using youtube, websites

2. Or attend paid online course

3. Or attend classes

Thabks for feedback, and i do interested to know which platform/website is best to learn basics of Java for free thru online..

Anyone got experience with Cradle Fund?

Today, Japan launched their Pokemon Go.

And it is also the first launch that is tied up with some partnership, being all the Mcdonald's franchise outlet in Japan (approx 3000+) will also be the Pokemon Gym station in Japan.

Given the craze in Pokemon Go in the available countries, this is a new madness that literally make people that play the game force to move around physically.

How will this impact real estate prices?
Let's say if you shop is near to a Pokemon Gym..

Do you think it will become one of the factor that will boom up the real estate price for that location at least?

BMW 316i vs BMW 318i

It is official that the new BMW 318i will replace the 316i.

While other parts doesn't see big huge difference, but the biggest difference is the engine

The 316i is a 1600cc 4 cylinder 4 valve engine, while 318i is a 1500cc 3 cylinder 4 valve engine..
Both engine are turbo-charged.

What are your opinion in

1. Durability of engine (If not wrong, this is first time BMW introduce a 3 cylinder engine, you can say it is a liken to testing white mouse)
2. Fuel efficient
3. driving experience
- smoothness
- delivery of power
4. effects to gear
5. price for engine (comparing same $$$ for 316 and 318)

It is quite disappointing to see 316i 4 cylinder 1600cc is being replaced by 318i... To me, it is a shocking downgrade

Hi all,

I would like to ask if anyone know how will this actually goes around..

Let's say I am a property developer. I got a piece of land, and that land is being charged to a bank (Say A bank) for bridging loan finance of the project.

Let's say the property is RM 1million (new development properties), and let's say it takes 3 years to be completed.

The question here is this.

Let's say a buyer, MR C, comes and buy this new under-construction property from me at a price of RM 1million, borrowing 90% of loan.

SPA and Facilities agreement all signed..

The construction begins and developer start to claim bank for the progressive billing on the construction status.

Let's say after 2 years, claiming 40% which is 400k, the purchaser start to default already..

Now the question is...

1. When the purchaser default with bad payments, will it affect the developer in claiming the remaining 50% of the sum ?

2. When the purchaser bankrupt, will it affect the developer in claiming the remaining 50% ?

Anyone had any knowledge on this?

Joining the solar energy bandwagon had see new comer - PUC Founder (MSC) 0007 coming into the picture.

Currently, secured and operating a 1MW solar farm at Kedah.

Target to see 50MW in their portfolio through
- Self bidding and building
- EPCC and Financing 3rd party allocated quota by using PPA as collateral

The difference of PUC and other solar operator is the EPCC and financing part.
PUC can access the "Allocated but unused" market to convert it into the company revenue.. Hence, growth can be very fast as it does not need to depend on bidding of quota from SEDA which is limited every year.

This company had been dealing with flour milling and distribution.

However, looks like the controlled prices of the flour had hampered the prospect of this industry, limiting it's upside.

Currently, KFM saw new substantial shareholder, Dennie Tow Jun Fye, having more than 14% of stakes in the company

The company also had proposed to see a private placement in the coming future to raise fund, and also to see the company venturing into new business, which is potentially link to IEQ which is listed in the ASX (Australia stock exchange).

KFM will be worth to be invested for a medium to long term based on :
- Emergence of Dennis Tow Jun Fye as substantial shareholder in KFM, which is related to the famous and well known Seasons Apartment Hotel Group in Australia
- Massive conversion of KFM-WA with exercise price of RM 0.51, and average collection cost of RM 0.125, putting up the insider accumulation price at RM 0.635
- KFM indicated for a change in business direction in the coming future
- Familiar sources indicating KFM to be looking to raise RM 7 million for new asset purchase and reinforcing the balance sheet, hence reworking to a placement price of approx RM 0.80.

basel 3 requirement and banks reaction

Banks are required to adhere to basel 3 requirement, tat is to beef up their cash holdings in their system.

latest being reported that hong leong will need to raise rm 2+billion in order to meet the requirement. However, should hong leong sell their treasury, then it will still be another rm 1billion to raise.

lately got news tat maybank also want to raise cash. But i dunno if this is correct. Maybank is going to make their priority banking down to rm50k liquid investment lock in with the bank so to attract more "priority" customer and beef up their cash holdings ??? If that is so.. sounds very desperate and definitely being down the whole level of "priority".. haha

Can someone verify ?
