Unifi FTTH modem

i think my unifi ftth modem is dead and probably need to get a new one.
but after searching from uncle google, it seems the modem is not commonly sell in MY?
so i want to know where to get one FTTH modem and what is the price range for it?
From some thread about the modem looks like require lots of configuration setting.
is it wise to replace myself or have my throat ready to be cut by TMnut with their expensive charges?
My unifi vip5 now 3months before my 2years contract are up btw.

Have you called your ISP's helpline?: not yet cause register under my sister and dont know where is the registration info

Modem: original unifi

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Today morning
Problem frequency: first time
Problem description: Hi guys, have a little problem today with my unifi modem. Unifi was working last night before i went to sleep at 1.40am and this morning, i realize one of the modem is dead with no power. i unplug and replug the power connector, tried on other main but it still dead. is it confirm dead now?

its the white modem.

So should i buy new one or contact tm? how much is a new white modem? and its it plug and play kind of modem?

Bought this mouse more than a year ago due to its design. Wanted R.A.T.7 but i'm too poor to get one so i settle with R.A.T.3. Though it have no customiztion like R.A.T.5 and R.A.T.7 has, it still get the job done and its pretty comfortable too.
Few weeks back, my R.A.T.3 starts to behave erratically. The mice start to have double click on the right button and then the LED died. i got another mouse as replacement recently but that feel of the mouse is just different in feel so i tried to revive back my R.A.T.3 and thank god its back to its full glory after the repair.

First of all i would like to apologize if the image quality not that good as it was taken with my phone.

Tools Required:
1) 2.5mm Hex Key/Allen key
2) #0 phillip + screwdriver
3) #1 phillip + screwdriver
4) small Flat - screwdriver
5) Soldering Iron (optional if you just want to see whats inside)
6) Solder Sucker (optional if you just want to see whats inside)
7) Common sense (Must have, not optional )

Optional Part Required:
1) Microswitches
- Omron D2FC-F-7N (cheap and mostly used in all gaming mouse except this mouse and made in China for china market. It is duplicate of D2F microswitches for china market)
- Omron D2F-01F (Made in Japan. 0.74N to press)
- Omron D2F-01 (Made in Japan. 1.47N to press)
Where to get: D2FC can only found in Ebay while D2F can be found in Element14/RS Malaysia/Ebay website.

2) LED
- Minimum of 5000MCD of light intensity.
- 5mm or T-1 3/4 in size
- Wavelength 630nm
- Red lumination

Q: Can Use other colour LED?
A: Maybe. but using back the same spec led should not cause any performance hit. other colour have different wavelength so do it at your own risk!
If you do managed to get it to work on other colour without any performance hit, do share it with me!! i want orange colour LED or maybe white

im planning to change gpu after CNY(angpow ) and currently eyeing SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC WITH BOOST for RM709 by lingloong. another alternative is Asus R9270-DC2OC-2GD5 for RM 665 also from ling loong.
but im kinda skeptical if my cpu will somehow bottleneck the gpu performance since its 3-4years old now and its a first gen i3 nonetheless. another issue is if my PSU can support R9 270X or R9 270 power demand.

[WTA] Claimable for warranty for snapped headset?

Hey Guys,

Wanna ask if this can be claimed under warranty? bought this headset on 11/05/2013 in lowyat plaza...
today while watching some movie that i just downloaded, it suddenly snapped.
guess my head too big for this headset somehow.... the only reason i bought this is because its the only 50mm drivers that is under rm180.... now i know why cheap is never good....

anyway i wanna know if the warranty cover this as well?

[WTA]Recommendation for Below RM200 Chassis

Dear All Sifus of Lowyat Forum,

I planning to change some minor parts of my old pc. Currently using AVF cheap casing which is above 5years old i think. the old mobo support LGA775 now using LGA1155/6.
Below is my PC Spec:
Intel Core I3-530 (stock cooler)
2x 2GB DDR3 1066?Mhz Ram
Gigabyte H55M-USB3 Rev 1.0
Sapphire 5670 1gb with some fancy stock cooler (No 6pin required )
Silverstone Strider 550W PSU
2x HDD
1x DVDRW
1x CDRW
1x 120mm Fan (chapalang brand)
1x 140mm fan (Evercool brand)
3x 80mm fan (chapalang Brand)

planning to get 1-2more HDD but my current case cant support anymore cause no more space due to the cable management is horrid.... im looking for a case that is future proof... probably that can be used even if i change new mainboard and such which will be in 1-2years time i guess....

So my Question is
1) what case is recommended for budget below RM200?mid tower.. slots for cable management is a must have. preferable the HDD connector is facing the side rather than the back of the case for better looking and air flow. Read some review on Aerocool cases, Thermaltake MS1,Xigmatek Asgard and Coolermaster Elite 430 cases but seems that it got some hit and miss. btw if the case has USB3.0 header, and i think my mobo only support usb2.0 header, will it work? preferable <=RM200 but if really have to i think max i can go for is RM250...

2) Is it advisable to reuse those case fans? or better buy new ones? its looks very dusty especially the Evercool brand fan. any link on how to clean a used fan? recommended brand for new ones if any?

3) the cpu cooler also super dusty. is it recommended to change a new one? the pc sometimes is turn on for few days especially weekends. If recommended to change, looking for a sub RM100 if needed... will the custom cpu cooler be too tall for the Sub RM200 case? but really is custom cooler needed if im not into OC? i play some online game and some PC games but not so high cpu dependant like GTA4(i dont like to play GTA..no offense to hardcore supporter though.. lol)... will the fan from the custom cooler affect the airflow on of the case?

4) filters.... i read some cases will come with filters. how important is this filters? easy to clean? what to know if one filter is good or bad? thick or thin?

im open for any suggestion on how to improve my pc internals. btw will getting a mid tower case be overkill for me after reading all this wall of texts? lol...
