Hi, my mother in law from Thailand, coming to Malaysia to visit my newborn, can I extend her stay in Malaysia? If yes, can I have the procedure please. If no, can i bring her to Brunei, and reenter Malaysia straight away for another 30 days? Would this works?

Question regarding MPKL

Lets say if an individual bought a corner unit and the full area is being setback and cannot do renovation, how will you handle this? For sure if submit plan for approval, it will not be approved. Will you still proceed for renovation? Imagine you paid for corner unit price, but cannot do extension. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

Last day salary calculation

Hello all,

Recently our company started to retrench its employees. One of them actually chose to resign and last day is 10th of September. He is getting paid RM3,000 a month. Our company paid him as calculation below:

Rm3000 x 10 / 30

But he said it was wrong calculation. It should be RM3000 x number of days work / number of working days in September.

He is asking if there is any Act written company must calculate based on 30 days? As he thinks he is underpaid.

As per title, can I post all transactions in JV instead of PV & RV? Let's say the company doesn't have any accounting system. All works have to be done in Excel. Is there any problem when it comes to audit?

Hi guys,

I am learning accounting. I found it so troublesome when it comes with exchange rate issue. Here is the question.
Company account should be done in MYR currency. At Sep 2020, shareholder transferred in usd 125,000 for share capital equivalent to 500,000. However in Oct 2020, the currency now is 4.1 instead of 4.0, thus the money should be pay back to shareholder right? In Nov 2020, this company transfer usd amount to myr bank. But the rate now 4.05. What is the accounting treatment on this please?

12,500 (in view of the rate is 4.1, there is extra of this amount), this should be amount due to shareholder?

What if in october, i have put in amount due to shareholder, 12,500. But in view of losses in currency exchange, how can we reduce the amount due to shareholder to be tally with USD bank accounts?

I need help on my study in accounting. The questions be like this. A company just set up recently. The share capital is RM100,000. Shareholder A transferred USD25,000 to their bank account as share capital. In view of currency exchange, it is more than RM100,000. How should we record this? We need to prepare account in RM.

Dr ??? For the unrealised exchange gain?

Cr Share Capital 100,000

Have issue with neighbour (terrace)

Hi all,

I have a neighbour that nobody likes them. We are living in housing area, double storey terrace. He is in the middle. When I was young, i used to hang my school shoes at the gate, middle with neighbour, they make them fall and into their house, make us having hard time to get back our shoes. When comes into terrace, outside road should be shared, we park outside our house, middle of our house and neighbour. They complained about it. The road is shared. Like I said, bad neighbour in middle, the other side neighbour has issue with them too. When bad neighbour renovate their house, the other side neighbour went to make police report to stop the renovation, because during the renovation, bad neighbour make the other neighbour’s roof spoil, which rains leaked in and piano spoil.

Recently, my mother plants some vegetables. Normally one neighbour beside my bad neighbor house will come to collect vege. Then they saw it, they made one gate which is not their land. To block the other side neighbour.

Then yesterday, i saw the bad neighbour’s dustbin are over their border, which is toward my house, i kicked it. Today, the aunty comes to knock my car door and ask, why i did that. I explained everything. She said she wanna viral it and make police report. Do you think anything will be happened to me?
