Sounds spammy but I can assure you...I am not selling you anything.

My life feels really stale. I know people say your network is your networth and that's precisely the problem - I do not have a good network.

How do I go about finding good mentorship opportunities, either to start a business, or at least learn something? Meta is so broken these days I cari on fb all come out cheong groups lol. Meeteup.com doesn't feel like what I want. Any forumers have idea?

Opened this thread to ask experts on what should I do in looking for my first property.

A bit of context: I'm 26, nett pay RM 3.4k, no commitments other than credit cards which I pay off every month.

I am looking for my first property. However I am not sure if it should be for investment purposes, or buying to live in it. I understand that for people my age, HouzKey is there to make monthly payments slightly cheaper.

What would be your advice? Sorry if this isn't the right place, please let me know so I will remove it and post it in a more appropriate board. Thank you.

Looking to upgrade to Note 20 Ultra. If I'm being picky, Mystic Bronze is preferred but other colour is fine too. AKG headphones if got is good, but if it's cheaper without than no problem too, haha

If can, I want to trade in my fullset Note 10 Lite together with it. Better if you offer credit card installment for the Note 20 Ultra.

Hi sifus, my car needs a tyre change already. Looking at reviews and choices, my options boil to these two:

Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 5 (F1A5)
Hankook S1 Evo 3 (K127).

Size is 225/45R17. I have been quoted RM 365-RM 380 for the K127, but if anybody have a kawan or own tyre shop, feel free to recommend.

Can't find prices for F1A5 as many shops say they don't stock it. If you know of prices, please let me know.

Just starting to play around audio for my daily driving vios. It's a 2003 G spec so it has tweeters which means I best get component speakers. Been looking for a new set on shopee but I saw a lot of good brands are like 80 bucks or so... Are these genuine?

Trading Investing Courses...worth the cost?

Hi all,

I would like to gather some opinions before I jump into this. Recently I attended a preview course for a trading/investing lesson, and while the preview shows that they know what they're doing (well aren't most previews like this anyway), of course the question invariably came to us buying into their courses. So basically they split up into two: investing course and trading course.

Of course there's fees to this, but it's a week's worth of content with webinar coach. And that after that we get to join their communities, get tools, etc. My question is, are lessons like these worth the cost? Because it's almost like buying a car - there's just SO MANY people doing it! Has anyone here attended courses like these and seen it to be beneficial, and known things otherwise hidden?

Morning! Let me be clear - I'm 23, out of uni and looking for a job soon.

I'm thinking of pursuing my passions in automotive and joining the industry as a car sales advisor. I've read a few threads here in LYN which were helpful, but they were a bit old so here's this post in the interest of hearing more from other forum goers.

I've always been very interested in cars and know a bit about them. This, combined with my penchant of being a salesperson has led me to consider making this my career.

I've heard lots of things about being a car salesman - low starting salary, internal competition and politicising, not competent, etc. But I've also heard good things too, such as being able to make good commission, getting to know many people, etc.

I'm not brand agnostic, i can do Malaysian cars, Japanese, etc. But my dream is to sell high end cars - it would be wonderful to work in an environment filled with my favourite supercars everyday! Takes away the stress a bit I hope haha

I believe passion goes a long way in matters like these, and it makes the difference between a salesman who's only there for the paycheck and one who is genuinely interested in getting someone their car.

So there it goes. Looking for advice from those experienced in this field or anyone who can chime in really. Appreciate the input so much.

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my PC but after giving some thought to it, I feel like selling off my PC altogether and just build a new one - provided the price is reasonable.

Can any sifus advice on what my PC could be worth? Here are the specs:

Corsair 550D case
Seasonic S12II 620W PSU
MSI R7950 Boost Edition (3GB DDR5)
Asus B250 mATX mobo
16GB DDR3 RAM
Intel i5 4460, 3.2Ghz.

Still can layan 2018 games at medium 1080p 60fps stable. Thinking of going to a ryzen + 2060 system.

Hi all,

My current pc is a 1080p 60fps machine. My specs are as follows:

I5 4460
16gb DDR3
Radeon 7950
23" 60fps FHD monitor.

So here's my dilemma. Earlier this year I was adamant as hell to purchase a 1070ti to replace my aging card. But then I realised that I frankly wouldn't be looking at a 1440p monitor upgrade anytime soon (at least within next year) so I thought of switching up my choices.

I'm now thinking of a 1060 6GB or a RX580/590. This would probably be paired with a new CPU cooler and possibly a 27", or at least a different monitor. Which essentially means I have to stick with 1080p.

My budget allows for either the 1070ti, or the 1060, cooler and monitor. Between the 1060 and RXs, I still can't choose because I'm not sure if I like the cheapness of the 1060 or the free games of the RX.

Help me choose! Thanks!!

Whole car painting and shop recommendation

Hi guys, LYN recommendations hardly go wrong so I'm back for another one.

Looking to paint my 2003 Vios, whole car. What's the price like? So far, I was quoted (same, both shops) like this:

1. Outside only, original colour - RM 1.7k
2. Outside and inside ori colour - RM 2.5k
3. Outside and inside change colour - RM 2.6k - 3k

Anybody can tell if this price is standard? Would also really love some recommendations, I'm in the KL area but can travel around (PJ, Shah Alam, etc)

It's rather big inside, can fit in shoes, clothes, alongside with laptop, etc. I really like it, and I'll be buying a smaller one. Hi guys, I'm interested to get a 1070Ti. However if I can tolak my current 7950 boost edition for some money I'd be glad to. It still runs perfectly, and 2018 games can still be run at 1080p 60fps, albeit maybe at medium or so.

Realistically what is the price I can expect for it? Thanks...
