Hospital nurse took it and lost it.

Applying for Broker stock trading account

Hi guys, I have tried to register a new stock trading account thru Hong Leong Broking website but they required user to submit hardcopy CDS form to their office, but in current situation we are not encouraged to travel around and have closed contact.

So, i'm seeking advise whether any broker allow me to register thru online or any other method without visit retail. Or any other broker provide end to end registration for new stock trading account.

Refusing signed employment bond with compensation

Hi,

I need some opinion on how to handle this issue or anyone has experienced the same scenario? So far, i'm just serving this company 1.5 months.

Here is the story began, I have signed an offer letter contained of employment bond 1 year. Here is the clause about:
"Employee will be bonded of 1 year period, should the employee resigned voluntarily within this period of time, employee will need to compensate
If resigned within 6 months, compensate 2 months salary
If resigned after 6 months, compensate 1 months salary"

At very first, why i did agreed on this bond because company explained that the compensation is the cost of training and skill development. But within this 1.5months no proper training course and skill development have been conducted, is this arguable to refuse the compensation to company?

EPF acc2 withdrawal for 1st house

Hi all,

I have a question on EPF account 2 withdrawal. Here is the summary:

SPA under: Me and My GF (Not marry yet)
Bank loan: Me only

Of course, i know i'm entitled for EPF account 2 withdrawal but what about her EPF account 2 withdrawal? As far as i know, she must be part of the bank loan and SPA in order to withdraw EPF account 2. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Any way for her to withdraw EPF account 2 to contribute on the down payment or installment of the house?

What if we get married after a year in 2019, she will be entitled to withdraw the money for down payment?

Dear all the LYNAS protestors out there,

Have you at the very least googled the words 'LYNAS', 'rare earth materials and products', 'gypsum', 'thorium', 'promethium','radioactive decay', and maybe even found out the penetration powers of alpha, beta and gamma radiation and maybe the side effects of exposure to them as well as ways to minimise radioactive leaks before jumping on the 'hate ship'? I sense a "since everyone is protesting, I'm sure they know what they're doing, I'll just jump in and lets spread the hate!" thing going on here...And if you did read up on all those and are still protesting, aren't we irresponsible, selfish and maybe a bit shallow if we sit and enjoy the best of technology made possible by the positive products of LYNAS and have a mentality that is "let other countries or other ppl take care of the less desirable by-products"? Don't get me wrong...protest!by all means do so, but in stead of pushing the responsibility to other ppl by asking them to "go do it in some other country", why not protest for strict regulations governing the handling of the radioactive waste with much heavier penalties? Maybe establish a body to monitor and make sure they maintain a healthy environment in and around the plant? (we have a body juz to handle corruption in malaysia...why not another one to handle this serious issue?)Or even make sure all the necessary precautions are taken to prevent shit from happening...and even if shit does happen, make sure there are secondary or even tertiary precautionary measures in place to prevent anything bad from happening...its a multi billion dollar profit making industry and considering Malaysia's 12 year waiver of taxes on the LYNAS plant, I'm sure they can afford to over-engineer or over-design when it comes to precautionary measures...so why not make them do that? I'm not sure if ppl everywhere else are doing it right but even if they aren't, why not let Malaysia be the 1st to make it right? Why not let us be the benchmark? Isn't that what our country likes? To be the 1st in this and to have the tallest that...

Oh and by the way...if you're still interested, read up on how rare earth materials are being used in new efforts to develop green technologies for the future as well as how China, being the largest producer of rare earth materials in the world currently can effect the availability as well as prices of electronics if they decide to reduce production or hold back supplies. After that maybe think of how our government taxes on a multi billion dollar profit making company (after the tax waiver) can affect the economy of our country if put to good use...I can further relate to more issues like how so many government link companies are announcing losses and all that but I guess that's besides the point...

So yeah...think about it and have a nice day...just sharing my honest opinion...I apologise if you find this wall of text insulting or boring but then again, as they say; "I don't wake up in the morning everyday to impress you"...

I'm planning to upgrade my pc Intel E6300 1.86ghz , Mobo Gigabyte 965p, 2gb ddr2 ram to new spec of AMD phenom x4 955 BE, Asus AM3 mobo board with 4gb ddr3 ram. and i going to keep my gc ATI 4850, psu and others remain the same.

So, do i need to reformat my windows7 before i put in my new mobo, cpu and ram?
