gpu power saving question for win 7

hi, currently i plan to use hybrid power for my gtx260-216 55nm, but unfortunately, nvidia say 55nm batch is not support hybrid power, but leadtek say the gtx260 ex+ support hybrid.... I installed the latest mobo nforce and forceware driver, it seems to be can use hybrid power due to there is hybrid power icon on the tray, but in power saving mode, fan will not turn off and heat is oso producing, so my 1st question is any power saving has been done?

my second question is, under power option of window 7, there is an option only available when hybrid power turned on in BIOS, which shown on the ss below:

take a look at GPU SETTINGS > PUT DISCRETE GPU TO SLEEP AFTER 5MIN

can somebody explain to me how will this work? i try wait 5min but the gpu seems still working, at least heat is produced and fan is spinning....

Some problems in hybrid power and gtx260

Hi, today i jus recieve my winfast gtx260 extreme+, im using m4n78-pro motherboard and doin hybrid power setting.

here is my problem:

1) Why are my gtx260 will not completely turn off under hybrid power saving mode? I installed latest nforce chipset & gtx260 driver. In bios>southbridge setting>hybrid SLi enabled>mGPU buffer size 256MB

2) Take a look at my GPU-Z screen shot.... kinda...no, is very weird

is this some error reading by gpu-z or my card's problem?

Problem 2 is solved... is normal reading now. Just switch the hybrid power mode to ADDITIONAL DISPLAY MODE instead of power saving.

Holy SXXX, prob 1 solved as well, only damn 192-core are support hybrid... wat the xxxx.... thread closed

m4n78-pro build-in vga questions

Ok, i just bought a new rig using m4n78-pro as mobo, and the integrated geforce 8300 as display for my samsung 2233sw.

my lcd and pc is connected with HDMI to DVI cable, due to the 2233sw got no hdmi input.

now the problem is, the screen resolution automatically using 1920x1080. i feel tats too large, i feel like wan lower reso, but when i try to change to 1280x720, the display does not fit the screen, even i try 1600x900 also the same.

my question is why wouldn't the 16:9 reso fit my 16:9 lcd?? last time i use pentium 4 geforce 2 set to 720p also can fit to the same lcd, is because of the HDMI to DVI cable?

(Chipset driver i downloaded the latest version from asus and nvidia, both tried out, same result.)

I want to ask can run the 9800GT low power edition with those 460w/500w psu that bundled with powerlogic casing?

Galaxy website says that 9800gt low power require at least 400w 12v/26A

Hi, anybody know is there any shop can provide good "balut" service for handphone? I wanna balut my new k810i's keypad & screen area to prevent fingerprint problem.

I know some of the pasar malam got, but i scared they cant balut it so nice...
