Straight to the problem...

During startup, my monitor detected an input of 800 x 6xx @ 60Hz from my graphic card, different from usual input of 1028 x 7xx @ 75Hz... when i log on into xp, display stays the same...i run device manager, it says that my graphic device is not detected (error 10)...but when i run Lavalys Everest, the info on my graphic card still there, also same with system info, even the temperature is normal (around 50 celcius, which is very normal for my graphic card)...i have cleaned and reseated the graphic card, but nothing change...what could be the problem? my graphic card or suddenly my motherboard PCI-E slot fails? FYI, i dont have onboard graphics...

migration from 32-bit to 64-bit OS

I want to migrate from 32-bit installation to 64-bit of Windows 7...my question is this...I have 3 partition on my hard disk, usually, when we do a fresh installation, files on the other partition than the system partition would not be affected...but if it involves migrating from 32-bit to 64-bit OS, will it be the same? Or do I have to wipe clean my hard disk to do so?

boost wireless signal strength

hello to all...hope u all can give me some insight for my problem...

currently im using tp-link wireless-N 951 pci card for my desktop...from what i read around, a PCI card tends to perform better than a USB adapter...but for my case, the access point is just around 10m from my room, but i can only get medium signal strength, sometimes very poor...yes, my desktop can't be turned or moved around to get better signal, so im thinking of getting a better antenna...the question, what kind of antenna should i look for? i have been looking around at the garage sales thread, and i found some people selling this 12dbi antenna...is that it?which is better, to buy an lower dbi antenna with extendable base, or higher dbi antenna fixed at my PCI card?

i welcome any suggestions from u guys...thanks...
