I just want to find out.. which is more suitable for daily driving around 100km daily.. (50km one way) .. 30% city.. 70% highway... no intention of breaking speed limit. 😊
for long term.. will the smaller engine be ok?

Glossy laminate on door

Hi All,

The door seems to be the normal kind of door which the developer gives. But on top of it, there's a kind of thin sheet that is glossy and smooth. I seen this kind of door before but am wondering about it. What kind of sheet is glued on to the door? Can we just get the sheet and paste on top of our normal door? Any ideas how much it would cost?
I think it really makes a simple door look great

Car Engine Mounting

Hi All,

My car is a 2004 Proton Iswara with 118000+ km mileage.
I can hear a rattling noise coming from the bonnet when the car is pushed hard - e.g when driving uphill or when carrying heavier loads.

My mechanic said the engine mounting is cracked and needs to be change. The estimated cost for changing the mounting is about RM600-700.

Is that a reasonable price?

Trade in car

Hi All,

I have a friend who traded in her Kancil. The car is still under her name as the salesman said that if the name is changed now without a buyer, the value will drop further.

The problem is that the salesman is not paying the installment to the bank and she is getting calls on the repayment of her previous car. Recently the salesman asked for 1.2 k to fix up the car.

What is the normal process when trading in car or selling to second hand car dealers? What can be done now? We're concerned its a con job.

Maxis packages availability

Hi All,

What's the difference between the coverage for the Maxis Power Mobile (USB) package and the Started/Advanced/Power packages pls? I would think that if it's covered for the Power Mobile, then the area is covered for the other packages too.

If I check the Maxis broadband coverage on their website, my area only has the Power Mobile coverage but not for the other packages. I don't need the mobility and just want the starter or advanced packages.
