Walking in to renew my kid's passport

I'm planning to renew my sons passport at the Duta Immigration office. Anyone did it recently? How seamless is the process and how long are the queues if any? Based on the website looks like no copies of the original are needed but I'm taking one set just in case.

(CNN)Four former employees of a Mississippi daycare are facing child abuse charges after a viral video surfaced showing an adult wearing a Halloween mask and scaring the children in their care.

On Monday, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and prosecuting attorneys "met with the parents of the children involved in the incident at Lil' Blessings Child Care and Learning Center and informed them of the possible criminal charges the law would allow them to pursue," a news release from the sheriff's office says.

"I admit it was very hard to watch these videos," Sheriff Kevin Crook wrote on social media about the incident. "It made me sick to my stomach to think of the terror those kids were enduring."

In the video, the employees are seen wearing a mask similar to that of the "Scream" villain, yelling in the kids' faces and chasing the kids around the room. The children can be heard screaming and crying in distress.

According to court documents, the incidents occurred in mid-September and early October.

Sierra McCandless, 21, Oci-Anna Kilburn, 28, Jennifer Newman, 25, and Misty Shyenne Mills, 28, are each facing three counts of felony child abuse, according to court documents.

A fifth woman, Traci Hutson, is facing charges of failure to report abuse by a mandatory reporter and simple assault against a minor, both misdemeanors, according to the release.

The sheriff's office did not specify which of the women wore the mask or exactly what role each of them is accused of playing.

The Monroe Journal spoke with Sheila Sanders, the daycare owner for the last twenty years.

"I contacted my licensure, and she has gotten involved," Sanders said to the Journal. "The people that did those acts are no longer with us. They were fired. I wasn't here at the time and wasn't aware they were doing that. I don't condone that and never have. I just want to say it's been taken care of."

Newman posted on her Facebook page that she was the one behind the camera and it wasn't the first time this had happened.

"I recorded to get the proof and then the video was sent to parents to show them how their child was being treated," she wrote. "I did not video this for s**** and giggles. It was not funny to me."

Newman declined to speak with CNN when asked for comment.

The suspects were arrested Wednesday, and the four facing felony charges made their initial court appearances Thursday, according to the timeline laid out in the release.

Court records show bond was set at $20,000 each for McCandless and Kilburn and $15,000 each for Newman and Mills. A county sheriff's office employee tells CNN they have all bonded out.

The records also state none of the women charged with felonies are employed at the daycare any longer.

Melissa Parker, director of the Office of Licensure with the Mississippi State Department of Health, says as of Thursday the facility has not reopened.

CNN has reached out to the former daycare employees for comment.

Getting tired of seeing too many racing, politics and Pro-CCP threads these days. And the thread about fresh graduates better off working in Famliy Mart rather than pursue a degree also got me reminiscing from when I started out as an engineer more than 20 years ago.

I used to go onsite for work, regularly for the first 5- 6 years or so of my career. I thought I would get the ball rolling by sharing some of my experiences. See how many of you guys can relate. Everyone is welcome to share, can be an engineer, front line service or sales, need not be serious can be funny, Doesnt need to be a specific event, can be something you did so often thats so out of place now in your current stage of your career

I'll start the ball rolling

One thing I learnt while working in the field which I hope to be able to share with my kids isnt just eating tapau food onsite. Thats a given. Back in my time old school boomers go the super heavy breakfast in lieu of lunch. For me i tend to have a light breakfast. So i tapued. Those times when my tapau came without utensils and i had not enough water to wash my hands i had to go the contractor route. Break off part of the styrofoam food packaging and use it as a spoon. Best challenge was when i tapued Malay nasi campur without utensils and it came in those brown manila paper wrapping. I turned the plastic bag inside out and used it as a glove. Whatever the plastic bag had gone thru was way cleaner than my hands haha

I missed those Docker Engineer (Engineered?) pants. Dockers once had those pants with multiple compartments perfect for ppl going to site. It had the standard front and back pockets that were deeper than normal. It also had a fully zipable front compartment and a side pocket by your knees. Field guys or shoplifters wet dream i guess. I remember stuffing 555 notebooks, test pens, my scientific calculator, cigges and later my PALM down those pants. On top of my wallet and car keys. Fark it was a good set of pants, and didnt look that ugly, quite fashionable. Well worth its price point

I remember sleeping in my car from 1 up to 3 hours. Most of my work was done late at night, sometimes if' i'm too tired i pull over and take a nap. If i'm on the highway or city i pull over near a rest area, 24 hour petrol station or mamak hide all my valuables, switch off the engine, wind down the window slightly and doze away. Remote areas had to get creative, did it once near a mosque/surau (spoiler noting happened) and also a police station in Kuala Pilah. Police actually checked on me to see if I was ok (it was a friendly encounter). That time forget smart phones, only Samsung Blue-I or Motorola Razr. So nobody viral me as mabuk hahah

Funniest specific anecdote happened either in Menara Public Bank or Maybank, i think more than 15 years ago, maybe in 05 or 06. I remember it as Public Bank, my colleague with me says it was Maybank

Refund of Excess Paid RPGT

Hi guys,

Had tried searching around but couldnt find anything on this subject. Basically I disposed my property end of last year and didnt apply the one time Tax Exemption for it. After deducting allowable expenses my RPGT was less than 3% of the selling price already remitted to LHDN. Already got the notification from LHDN end last year. The balance also shows up on the e-lejar on the ezHasil website.

I assumed that LHDN would wait for me to clear my Income Tax first before they process my refund so I just let it be first. However i have filed my e-BE in March and paid my excess tax immediately after filing but no news on the refund. Since it was MCO no one was there to answer my queries. Made a call once it was RMCO and was told to either write in our use their Maklumbalas website. I then filed my query on the website but till now nothing on that end either. Its been about 8 months already. Would probably make a trip to LHDN when time permits

Just wondering if any other forumers here have the same issue?
