So, I have a few questions. I am in a tight budget and I am not sure if I need to buy a new case as my current case only has USB 2.0 front port. I would like to have USB 3.0 front port.

- Is there a part to buy that I can put in front?
- If so, what is that part called?
- Does the new motherboard support plugging that part? I know it has 2 USB 3.0 ports, but that's only on the rear, right?

I saw a similar pricing for the PSU. One is FSP Hexa 500W and the other is ENERMAX NAXN(Tomahawk II) 500W.

- Which one will perform better?

Upgrading Computer Rig

Hey guys, I am currently interested in upgrading my PC. Below is my current rig, built in 2008:

Motherboard : Gigabyte G41M-Combo
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
RAM : 4GB DDR2
Graphic : Nvidia GTS 250
HDD : WD 320GB (currently having 2 x 1TB WD Ext HDD)
PSU : Aero Cool AF - 500
Casing : Some cheapo E-value casing xD

I am thinking if it is possible to sell off some of my current parts and upgrade with a little top up money? If so, my budget will be around RM 500. If not, please give me some advices. Thank you.

Monitor Problem

Hi, I am going to explain specifically about my problem.

I have been using my LCD monitor for the past 2 years without any problem untill the last 2 weeks. After the computer is switched on, the screen will show me the compaq manufacturing logo screen for just 1 second or even less. Then, the monitor will turn off by itself. The computer is still running and load into the desktop. When I tried to switch the monitor on again, the monitor will show me the desktop for juz 1 second and switch off again. I have to keep trying untill I get the monitor to switch on. Once the monitor can be switched on, I will have no more problem and can use the computer as much as I want. If I shut down the computer and switch it on again after, let's say 5-10 minutes, the monitor will not have any problem. However, if I switch it on after half an hour, the monitor will switch it off again.

FYI, the monitor is hp f1523 and I have searched the google for any solution to this but it seems that no one has the similar problem as mine except the Topic Starter.

Hope there are someone out here that can help me. =D

PS: Sorry if I am being too specific and excuse my, er, bad grammar?

Edit: Ops, forgot to add something. When the monitor switch off by itself, the light will turn off too. Basically, that means the monitor is switching off and not losing signal or sleeping.
