i was thinking can we open a topic to share the network skill and knowledge for those SMB, medium or enterprise network.

like
L3/4 switch/ router (etc 3com,cisco,juniper,F5, nortel and so on)

firewall/IPS/UTM (etc tippingpoint,fortinet,watchguard and so on)

security setup (etc VLAN, WVLAN and so on )

i got one server run as SQL(name as A), other one is only run as application server(name as B).

both server is diffrent IP A server is a LAN IP and B server is a WAN IP.

my question is can the B server connect to the A server SQL to process the query and data.
