Does anyone know of a good cosmetics guru that I can consult? I've not used makeup for the past 20+ years and as I am about to be wedded soon, I figure I'd start applying some basic make up to look good for my future husband.

I'm aware that many of you browse through YouTube for tutorials on make up, I do the same myself. However I realised I can't tell the difference between a lot of cosmetic products and would like to meet someone who is familiar with them to consult on, and perhaps go shopping with for some proper make up products. The person doesn't have to be certified, so long as she is confident about her knowledge on cosmetics as I'm not looking to do professional make ups. Just some basic day-to-day natural look or so.

Reason for sale: Purchased a Yashica Electro 35 GL from LYN forumer Kamelet a while ago but due to personal financial reasons, this little beauty has got to go. I purchased this little rangefinder to try out film photography and this unit worked perfectly.

Hi there, my sister has just completed her SPM last year and is currently undecided about which course to take up in college.

Being the big sister and all, I am obviously concerned about her future and am trying to persuade her to follow her interests. So far, it seems like she has shown some interests towards Lim Kok Weng's Diploma in Accessories Design.

We're living in PJ and I'm not exactly thrilled about the idea of her going to a college that is located in Cyberjaya. Not to mention, I've heard some news about the campus in Cyberjaya that caused me to doubt the standard of that college.

I'm wondering if any LYN's member might be taking up this particular course, could you please advise on this matter.

I was thinking of getting the pink Nokia 7390 because it's so sweet but then the white SE w900i function is just as good, not to mention I'm usually a SE supporter. But since Nokia is user-friendly enough, I thought of changing to a Nokia phone to try it out.

So in your opinion, which is the better phone?
