hello there,

i just hav curiosity bout d internet connection display icon ,
why it sometimes doesnt show , but sometimes shows .

i connect thru network cable to a routere which actualli connects out to 4 PC s.

in fact i dont encounter connetivity problem .

Just Curiosity to like to know why is it like dis.

i m just a bit curious why people choose nikon but not canon ,
& why people choose Canon but not Nikon

mind u guys share wat u like bout nikon ,

& wat u like bout canon ?

i myself , used to use canon back in film-days , but switched to nikon in D-days ,
just nothing special reason of myself . . . due to costing issue . . . wat i mean is tat d certain model which i was interested / able to buy at tat moment in term of its functions, features ..... etc tat suited me at tat moment

i open dis topic for us to discuss / share some experience which we had with our dslr .

pls share yo experience in following sequence :-

Problems :
Solution :

wel, i might share mine 1st .

Dslr Model : D90
Problems : sometimes shutter may lock-up , but weird is tat , everything seems fine , no "err - - - "
Solution : just hav to focus somewhere else , then it just works fine again .

wat difference r they anyway ?

hello there ,

i hav long seeking for a so-called "chestpod" to b used with my camera .

its short (tripod-liked) thing , put on chest instead of d long-long tripod on d floor .

i had seen once , 15 yrs back , in singapore .

i liked it coz it just substitute a monopod , easy of use , no need money-hungered-VR .

now i m in m'sia , & had long seeking thru a numbers of photographic equipment suppliers ,
but not to b found any .

has anyone here known bout dis thing ?

i had ever seen anyone posted a technique for facial retouching using a very simple photoshop action.

it never needs to be manually set / brush / etc ...

result is acceptable , but just dont compared to long-time-consuming technique .

would anyone help me pls ? thanks

i m just wandering , as we used to hear from long ago , that we need to charge overnite for a new "rechargeable battery , especially for a new handphone , as in my mind .

so , now , i m wandering whether we hav to do d same for a new DSLR battery ?

it seems like never mentioned in d manual / quick guide book .

virtualdub: how to add filters ?

hello there ,

recently i found a powerful software for video file editing.

i would like to brighten up & sharpen up some of my movies .

i tried to apply 'levels' & 'sharpen' simultaneously to d movie , when previewing it , surely much brighter & sharper .

but, after save it as a movie file, i open tat file in windows medis player , it just displayed as d original non-editted movie , stil look dark & not sharp.

i wonder how to apply filters in virtualdub ?

hello there,

i m having dis problem after once i tried to connect a 102 keyboard to my laptop using a PS2 > USB adaptor.

d 1st adaptor reported as incompatible to d keyboard , but it oredi seemed like installed its driver onto my laptop.

til now , everytime my laptop boots up , it pops a window (refer image pls ) .

it appears as 'unknown device' in d device manager .

i did try to uninstall it , but after reboots , it stil pops d above-mentioned window .

may someone pls advice ?
