i new in web programming. i use my windows machine to develop it...and wamp5 running inside.....but when i transfer my database and php web....it can run properly...why huh?

Hi all, i a Ubuntu user, this morning my it manger ask me to find a Ubuntu cd around 100pcs, her know that i am Linux user.....to be more clearly... actually my company is training company, they get a project from perak state, the purpose of project is to teach a rural area people about open source.

my question is:

1) i think my company get a project form perak state, it mean my company get pay, if its ok to use free open source soft for that purpose?????...
what i know.....we cannot use this software for financial gain or for sales it.....i need advise...
2)how can i get this Linux copy....i already know that i can duplicate of copy many time freely...but they want a cd just with that case and good look..

i need help...plase advise me....
