I met this guy whos very good looking, tall and financially stable. Gave him my number and two weeks later we met.

We lives in different places, about 3 hours by car. He has a cousin who lives nearby my place. So he asked his cousin to come out together. I ended up chatting with his cousin most of the time because his cousin is more talkative and I to be honest really enjoy chatting with his cousin. Him on the other hand is shy and quiet, even though we were initally interested in each other (I think).

Now I think I like his cousin more than him lol. Even though hes better looking and younger. And his cousin could well be married,I dont know and I dont ask this kind of question! I have never had proper conversation with him before because we've only met twice and everytime I ended up talking to others rather than him. I would like to get to know him more but how do I get to talk to him when hes so quiet? I am a talkative person so I would talk to anyone

Say you have a partner who is much better looking than you do. He/she is HOT and you will give a score of 8 or 9 our of 10 for the outlook. When you go out with your partner, you are aware of the attention he/she gained. You know there are plenty of other girls/guys who are into your partner and would jump in the queue to be the next.

Not that you are ugly looking, but you arent as attractive as your partner.

I am sure some of you would have been in this situation. Your met this new person and you guys were chatting in a group. Then he/she thought you have a partner. Until you said no. Then that person looked puzzled/surprised.

Okay, question is how do you respond to this situation when the person then asks, why do you not have a partner? Like erm.... I didnt know that theres an answer to that sort of question!

I am single and would really like to get into a relationship.
I do have guys showing interest in me, but many times i wonder what they see in me. Everytime i go out to meet new people, there will be guys staring at me.

not only i wonder why they like me, i also start thinking how could good-looking guys like them fall for me? all of them are good-looking (above average) and highly educated. i myself am highly educated but i see myself nowhere near good-looking.

i havent dated for years. partly because i dont want to and have yet to find the right one. all the other guys that i went out with in the past are average/ below average looking.

so what do you guys think is wrong with me? confidence level need some push up?

or i am probably worried that they are not serious about me.

Hi i want to share with you guys this product. today i highlighted my hair with garnier multi-lights kit. it is written on the box that it is not suitable for black hair, but i used it anyway. i got a nice highlighted hair now, very natural. even more natural than what i got from the saloon 4 months ago.

i am not sure if you can get this product in malaysia. it costs 5 pounds (25 ringgit). get it from ebay if you want. a single box is enough for long hair.

it works, trust me. i have very black hair (darker than most chinese/asians). if your hair colour is lighter, the results will be even better.

you dont have to go to the saloon anymore. use your creativity on yourself. you wont mess your hair!

Violin Shoulder Rest and music stand

I am looking for a violin shoulder rest. I know the best thing is for me to go to the shop and try it on me and my violin. But before that it would be wise to get an idea from other violinists out there. could you guys tell me what to look out for when choosing a shoulder rest?

it would be great if you tell me your experience with shoulder rest. eg which one is your preference and why. which one you should bin it and why too!

on another note, i am considering of getting a music stand. i am a new violin adult learner. i dont have a music stand so i just stick my music sheet to the wall while i am practising now. i love violin and probably getting a cheap music stand (as long as the quality isnt bad) for beginner. please advise.
