How does the Dell warranty works?<br /><br />The warranty start date is based on the purchase date of Dell quotation when the time reseller bought it, or the warranty will start upon the date customer purchase from reseller?<br /><br />Let&#39;s say the warranty is 1 year. The reseller got the laptop from Dell on Jan&#39;17 and warranty will be expired on Jan&#39;18. If customer purchase laptop on Apr&#39;17, does it mean that three months warranty gone?<br /><br />Please advise whether I should purchase from Dell online or retail shop.
