How to add shine to text

Hello there.
I'm trying to add a shine to my text just like "Step 2" here. But couldn't.

This is what I get:

Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected.
The selection edges will not be visible.

Is there anyway to add a zero in front of an int

Is there any possibility to add a zero in front of an integer for integers between 0-9?

Output example: 02, 09 and etc.

Documents,browsers,everything loads really slow!

My laptop is a:

- Compaq Armada 110 model
- Pentium III
- Designed for Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and Windows ME (but I had installed Windows XP on it)
- Hard Drive 18.6GB

During startup, the taskbar loads very slow. (I had unticked all the programs during startup yet there are some defaults which could not be removed)

Documents, internet browsers, folders opened at a very slow rate. Sometimes it got hanged (Not responding) for a while before everything is back to normal.

I had scanned the whole laptop using Anti-Virus & Anti-Spyware.

What may be the cause of the problem?

My dad had planned to get me a new laptop but in the meantime, I to use this laptop for my assignments purposes and also to do works assigned to me.

Please help.

Hey guys. I tried 2 add a table into a new webpg but then it won't work. D language I'm using is XHTML. I tried Insert > Tables but the "Tables" couldn't b click. Why is tat? Pls help...

Yesterday, the laptop is still ok when I used it. It's not really fast. The webpages I opened in Mozilla Firefox is slow but useable. Microsoft Word works ok. But today after starting up the laptop, it took ages just to open "My Computer" => "My USB (G:\) or (F:\)" it ended up with a "Not responding" and I can't open my document in my USB drive! I can still open it yesterday but can't now. The Mozilla Firefox kept getting hanged (hang gei)! How do I solve my problem?

I'm currently doing a throughly scan for my laptop by using "PC Tools AntiVirus".

Description of my laptop:

Problem:
1. All the program I want to run kept being "Not responding" even though I wanted to just open my USB Drive.

2. When I pressed Alt+Ctrl+Delete, it took quite sometime to even show the pop-up box asking whether do I want to log off or open the task manager and so on.

P/S: I need to solve the problem as quick as possible as I am trying to have my assignments done.

Laptop loads extremely slow

Description of my laptop:

Here is the problem:
One day, I switched on the laptop only to find out that it couldn't reach Windows as it needs 2 b loaded with MS-DOS 8.0 or so I think. That's why my dad installed Windows XP into the laptop.

It is ok at first but after I downloaded the softwares I need: PC Tools Spyware Doctor, PC Tools AntiVirus, Microsoft Office, Mozilla Firefox, & Windows Live Messenger, the computer seems to load very slow until it was stated on the title bar as not responding. After a few minutes, (finish loading) it can be used again without the not responding title on the title bar. I don't know why. What's the problem!?

Ways tried:
- Disk Cleanup
- Disk Defragmenter
- Scanned whole laptop

It just won't work!

Now, I'm trying to transfer all my documents through home networking and after that, I'll reboot the whole drive, laptop everything!

1. Do u know the reason behind the slow loading of the softwares, my documents, webpages, my laptop and everything?

2. Is there any way to solve the problem?

Hello, I have a PC and a Compaq laptop (Amanda 110). I would like to create a network between the PC and laptop (which had a wireless LAN card) but during the process, the laptop could not seem to detect the Wireless LAN card.

The LAN card is workable. The Wireless LAN Utility can still detect the line. The connection status is Excellent. Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox can still be surf but why it is undetectable by the laptop when I'm setting up a new network? Can u pls guide me step-by-step?
Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Is there any way to transfer exe file? I tried to send it through my mail but it can't b send through mail. Bcos it's an exe file. I thought about changing the format of the file but don't know how. Please help.
