Mah Sing loses court case

Its quite strange that a whole building is demolished without proper investigation because of a few cracks. There could be an ulterior motive by Mah Sing's management to take such a decision. Cracks within the design Code limit is acceptable and clearly stated in the BS Standard. All current structural designs are done using softwares and to get a simple reinforced concrete beam design for a 10 stry low cost building wrong is just ridiculous.
Assuming the design engineer is so stupid, they can still repair or even reconstruct the beams concerned at a fraction of the cost to demolish and reconstruct the whole building. This looks like Mah Sing's middle management is trying to create an issue to defame someone they really hated.
In comparison, the MRR2 elevated highway has thousands of cracks but yet it was not demolished and successfully repaired. Even the recent seriously damaged Setapak Condo project by Platinum Victory and Jakel is being repaired. The cracks were so big that you can put your hand through the cracks. So what is Mah Sing's motive?
