Fuel flow rate l/hr at idle is quite high

Lately I noticed my Exora at idle, fully warmed up, is consuming more than 1.5L per hour, without any aircond alone.
To those who are more technical minded should know that it should idle around est 0.6L/hr. But again this just theory.
Engine load percentage is around 20+ percent at idle.

Anyone can share your litre per hour from Torque Pro?
Preferably engine 1.6L and above.

Update:
Earlier I mentioned that "Normal 14.7:1 Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) is 0.45-0.5V. Mine is showing 0.7V at idling , fully warmed up . Richer fuel mixture"

It seems after watching several videos, it seems its pretty normal for it to remain around 0.7Volts

How much this TV is paid for? Including current as

Need help from someone with good accounting knowledge.
I know it will sound odd to most of you so bear with me.

Recently me and wife share cost to buy a new TV which cost Rm 1399.
I paid Rm 1K while she fork out Rm 399 remaining balance

As such also we decided to transfer a working 40" LCD TV to another house.
I assume the value is around 400-500 used based on survey on FB marketplace
I did not trade in my TV but just put in another home.

My question is:
If assuming the old TV asset belongs to me previously , Does that mean i paid Rm 1K on top of another est Rm 400 of the current TV asset value.
Total around Rm 1.4k. Not including Rm 399 she shared with me.

Please advice me the correct methodology.
I am using the similar prinsip of currentl market car value plus top up.

Not that i hate Yoodo. Its about admitting responsibility.
(Yes they admit its their fault inside Yoodo community, not on their FB page)

Last year when Yoodo had a long breakdown they gave each person 2Gb Free data. If its in SG, customers can demand kaw kaw for rebate and they will get it.

So we all know lah...Malaysia apa pun boleh lepas. Not like Singapore.. a "fine" country. Cannot play play. Don't play play.

(Long Story Short) - The pathway towards becoming a successful Real Estate Nego.

I'm in a situation whereby I'm about to lose both my GrabCar and Mycar due to issues with applying PSV with Grab .
Sat for PSV once, failed. Wanted to resit, applied, but then Grab failed to inform me exact date for the exam and made me "miss the exam". And tomorrow 12 October is the last day. And I'm getting sick of chasing after it.

My initial plan was to use Grab to supplement my daily income, but my ultimate goal actually is to apply to become a Real Estate Negotiator (yes, selling houses) .
Now that this Grab car is giving me problem. I am at a junction where I need suggestion what to do next.
My wife says - Get a job. Yes she has her point but that might jeopardize my main goal. However I have been following Dan Lok's advice : Get a job, then work your way as a sideline first.

And I'm not single either. Having wife and kids. So that's already a commitment. The pressure is on me.
I wanted to join as a Real Estate Negotiator because I wanted to give a better life to my family. (Yes I do have some dreams of one day owning a C-Class, hopefully one day) with a good 4-5 figure income.

And yes I already have a proper real estate company (not a china man company) contact. Just that haven't started yet, trying to kick off, but because I need to stabilize my cash flow income first, its put on hold first

yes I know its not gonna be easy path (okay, it's more like being self employed) climbing my way to become a successful Negotiator, but I hope to hear from those in this field:

How did you get started off from Zero , in this field.

Really need advice. No insults please. In a distress.

Illegal Parking attendant near Sunway

Update : This morning went to MPSJ after doing Grab wlactivity. Went to the counter and was told -"Jumaat ini kamu boleh berjumpa dgn seorang penguatkuasa pada pagi utk mengadu masalah ini"

Story on 17 sept
This morning I wanted to goto Pyramid just for a quick hop in.

And as I park near the public parking lot, in front of the shophouses / Restaurant Sri Biadara, next to Sunway Clio / Sunway Pyramid,

An Indian man came to me and ask if I am parking here. He was ready to issue me a parking coupon. I dont know how much cause I didnt agree to him.
I told him off that this is a public parking area - "Ini kawasan parking awam MPSJ, Bukan you punya bapak jalan".

Coincidentally there was an official MPSJ car (a Perodua Kembara) and he even dare to say - "MPSJ pun park sini".
(He is try to say that even MPSJ officials park here and no issue of him collecting parking fares at this area) . I dont see him putting a parking coupon at the MPSJ car.

And neither could I see any MPSJ pegawai nearby.
He even suggested me to park inside the shophouses where Hotel Sun Inn is, but now converted into private parking lot.
No thank you.

So I got so fedup of arguing further with such stubborn headed person, I relocated my car in front of Kompleks 3K. Legal public parking area.

I will lodge a report with MPSJ, but knowing MPSJ will take like 1-2 weeks before they could response. And god only knows whats their response.
Tried calling their hotline, no one answered

Any other suggestions how can I report this issue? Im really damn pissed off by these people easily collect money at Public Parking area.

Travel to Bukit Mertajam from Subang

Hi, My wife wants to go Bukit Mertajam from Subang just to visit a friend over the Weekend.
Want to know any other route suggestion which minimise toll? (Not totally avoid toll).
Can mix toll and Kampung road.

I tried searching using Google Map and select "Avoid toll" but it takes me via Kapar - Kuala Selangor - Sekinchan Road.
Any other suggestions? Need some human input that Outsmart Google Maps.

Besides Grabcar what else flexible job i can do

Hi guys,
Currently im doing Grab. Being doing 1 yr as full time Grab driver.
What i enjoy doing Grab is that the hours is flexible and mine.
No longer i need to follow 9-5 work time and slave to the boss.
I like to strategise / plan out.

But of course as with any self employed job, no work or less work means less income per day.

Therefore i am looking for some other job which offers flexibility in hours and yet something i can work based on my effort. I will still continue to do Grab, just that i wanna focus more towards that new job.
Something worthwile my time and effort. Something that i can work
Any suggestions?

I was thinking doing as a property agent. But thats one of the ideas i had in mine.
Previously tried doing as insurance agent but didnt work out.

Btw i am in my 30s , married and have chikdren..so yeah..commitment towards family is there

How to know if Grab has taken any action to pax

A few times i encounter some irresponsible / assholes passengers which climbs above my head.
Examples:

1) Passenger cutting her finger nails at my back seat. I noticed it during the ride, but just dont wanna complain directly to passenger.
2) Students sitting more than 4 passengers behind, and still ignores (and gives a innocent smile or innocent remarks) despite being told off that it is not allowed. Cant cancel as i already arrived pickup point.
The worst one is those using promo code . He / she must be thinking - What a bargain. RM 1 to sit 5 people.

3) Passenger request drop off her friend first at her friend's hostel before proceeding to drop off point. That time multi stop was not introduced, and worse still, using promo code
4) Passenger sit 3 + 1 passenger , using Grabshare. Since drop off point is nearby, so i just close one eye , since i already arrived.

5) passenger called ask me where am i, i said, i am 200m away, he acknowledged and even give me house number. arrived at his house gate, his wife came out and told me he already left and already heading to the airport (but booking states, Drop off at Taman Desa Medical Centre). Okay wtf. Call his phone, ringing, refuse to answer

These are the few incidents i can recall.

A number of times i reported to cs, and its either "we will investigate and take necessary actions" or "we will remark in the system", especially the latter one is not very convincing. Ok, so what happens next?

Seriously grab customer service response isn't as convincing as Uber. They don't respond as well as Uber.
I think their FB team is just a group of sweet talkers.
But the reason i still stick with Grab is because of their incentives (Im a Ambassador) and fare prices. I havent compared Uber's Cash King yet, but every time a heavy Promo comes on board, some passengers literally abuse it, especially students.

Just for discussion.

Currently have a Wira 1.3 and a relatively new Proton Exora turbo.

Assuming I plan change my daily driven year 2002 Wira 1.3 to a 1991 Merc W124 230/260E (or if budget permits,a W126 300SE) ,
or BMW E34 520i.

is it called an upgrade, even though car age is older than present Wira.

Love the feeling of old German engineering.

For those who wants to say, buy new car, got warranty, I already have one at home. But its not daily driven.
And I cant afford a brand new A-class Merc even.

And I have car repair knowledge.

Wife says go for new Honda City, but not to my liking. (and even that, I prefer Mazda 2 over City)

Just seeking opinions.

Suggestion for a suitable career which travels

Hi,

Currently looking for a suitable career advice which fits my passion after I quit doing Customer Service line.
I find myself keep thinking about travelling / driving .

Cause sometimes I have friends / relatives come over to Malaysia (yes, foreigners) and I & my wife will bring them around, be it just KL, or a trip to down to Johor. Once I drove a group of 7 adults of Thai friends, KLIA -> Genting -> Cameron -> Back to KL, in a rented Unser.

Recently done a trip to Penang and back with my wife & her friend from Jakarta (to attend a wedding).
Upcoming I will be doing a group driving up to Genting (2 MPVs going up Genting, so you can figure how many adults are expected).
All these was done as a free-willing basis; no income / profit are involved.

So much of these travelling that my mom once called me "The taxi driver"

So I find myself liking to driving around. Felt like a tour guide cum driver.
For example, when me and my family went to Bali, we engaged a freelance "driver cum tour guide" that we found on the Internet, to bring us around Bali in his own personal Toyota Kijang (Unser).

And for those whom might start asking me "Why not join Uber/Grabcar" instead, well it got my interests, but due to horror stories of SPAD / JPJ and taxis very much against this concept, I dropped the idea.
Furthermore I am reluctant to use my newer car (MPV) for such purposes.
I have another sedan car though which is older, but prefer to use that one for any job related calls.

Need advice on this one. Thanks in advance

Can Malaysian Driving license be used in Indonesia

Hi,
I want to ask any Indonesians here (or any Malaysians gone to Indonesia frequently) whether is it possible to drive in Indonesia, with Malaysian driving license, even though technically its illegal.

Reason being is I frequently travel to Indonesia (my wife is Indonesian) hence there are times I need to drive myself , although we have supir (driver) .

And nope, I dont have a KITAS yet (Kartu Izin Tinggal Terbatas) Visa yet to be eligible to apply for the driving license (but going to, in the future)

As I understand a requirement is to have STNK (Surat Tanda Nomor Kenderaan, something equivalent to our vehicle registration card/geran in Malaysia) and driving license inside the car, when driving there.

Apparently Indonesian driving license is recognised in Malaysia (I have checked the web), so I was wondering if vice-versa is possible.

I definitely have plans to obtain a license, but I am contemplating whether to get a International Driving License from JPJ, or go through the hassle of applying 1 in Indonesia.

Any experience with the Polisi there when they perform roadblock?

RM 38 for a Serpentine Fan/Drive Belt

Hi,

Recently my "car" which is an ELECTROLUX Front Loader Washing machine, shredded its belt, until it came out of the motor drive pulley.
Thank God it didn't snapped the belt.

So I went to the car spare part shop, bought a replacement fan belt. MITSUBOSHI brand. See picture.
I showed the old belt, and first thing she asked "For machine ar". Well I nodded my head (cause I know its not for a car)

But the si-tau-por (lady boss) charged me RM 38 (initially RM 40).

So I felt its kinda pricey, IMO.
I think its because she felt its not for a car/engine, but for a "machine" , maybe she jacked up the price.

My apologies if its not really entirely car related post. But since it involves car spare parts, well, just curious about the price.
I replaced my fan belt for my Nissan previously and that was like RM 15 only for a normal , V-Grooved type belt.

BTW, the new belt is shorter in diameter than the old one..Which means..damn..I have to adjust the motor tensioning
(Just like how mechanics do, for adjusting the alternator, when replacing the alternator belt)

Beware: Car Park next to AsiaCafe Subang

Hi guys,

For those who knows the private parking bay next to Asia Cafe, Subang Jaya, opposite of the Burger Bakar KawKaw.

Usually at night, they open it for free (Their exit boom gates are usually open at night)
And usually I try to find parking space there because there got better chances to get space.

Now they are running trial run at night!

Just now when I went to eat SNOWFLAKES, I noticed they now have someone manning at night.
And the exit boom gates were opening and closing.

Luckily they didn't charge me, although I read the signboard "Selepas 5.01 PETANG : RM 3.00"
I just only notice the operator click something into his computer and then the gate opens.
I bet he is doing survey/trial run to see how many cars park inside at night.

Who would wanna pay RM 3 at night when you can get it for free outside, (that is if you are lucky to find a parking spot that is)

Reporting a lost T&G card, is really a lost

2 days ago, I reported my card being lost (because I use the LRT frequently).

Then today I reported my touch and go for being lost.
So my remaining balance is around RM 22+

So the Touch & go officials said they can refund back my RM 22,
But then Touch & go officials would charge me RM 10 processing fee.
And I have to buy another new card = RM 10

Total RM 20

I asked them if can just transfer the balance, to a new card, without refunding the money back to me, but then they said "Sorry sir, cannot be done"

So I told their hotline "Like that your company is taking back the RM 20 from me la!!" and the careline lady just laugh at there.

I was like WTF, that means they force customers to 'pay' them back RM 20 just for losing my card. Might as well I don't need report lost. Let 'you' (Touch & Go) have it or some other founder have it and use it all.

Note that if one were to lose just their Maybank ATM card, they can make one for RM 12 only.

Petrol kiosks's pump which pumps extremely fast

I just want to share with you,
for those whom firstly pump "slowly and carefully" (using just the first level of the pump nozzle).

I recently went to Petronas and there is one Petronas station of which the :

i) Old Pump - Its panel is grey in color, you can pump slowly and it will run slowly with you.
ii) new Pump - Panel is Yellow in color, no matter how gentle you press the nozzle,the meter still runs FAST! Really fast.

So I wonder, if you pump slowly with these "Fast Meter", does that mean they are trying to prevent you from pumping real slow and also want you to "Pay more, get less" fuel? Gosh, I wonder if for those whom press it at full throttle, how much fuel they lost!

If I am not mistaken, Shell pumps are also "very fast" when pumping slow, but not as extremely fast as Petronas

BTW, I seldom goto Petronas because I am not a fan of them, unless emergency only.

Friend wants to introduce her cousin to me

After my friend (girl) got to know that I am single,
She plans to introduce her cousin to me, hoping I could get attached with her (in natural ways of course)
She said that her cousin is single, and looking.

Her cousin is in another state while I am in KL.

So now my friend is thinking ways of connecting the both of us, via Internet (her cousin has Facebook & Friendster) but until now she hasn't got a good idea how to briefly introduce her cousin to me, without shocking her (her cousin).

I already have her cousin's Facebook page and Friendster,which was given by my friend, but I have not make any move (add her, email her,etc) until me and my friend got a solid plan.

Any suggestions?

Why can't Police standardized payment in all balai

It's already sickening that I was stopped last month for a minor traffic offense, and forced to sign the Summon.
I can still remember the police telling me "Awak tak mau sign summon, awak bayar denda RM 100, awak mau??"

Furthermore I asked the police which summon "Encik, saya tinggal dekat (where I work) , boleh saya bayar di sana?"
And he replied "Ya, boleh, mana mana balai polis pun boleh"

Today before I went to my office, I stopped by at a police station along my way to work.It's supposed to be the "HQ" in the town, not those small balai police.

However to my disappointment, when I went there, the police officers told me to either pay my summon at Puchong Jaya office, Shah Alam or Petaling Jaya traffic police office.
Imagine the hassle I have to travel, just to pay one already-annoying traffic summon.

They said "Kita hanya terima accident kes aja di sini"...
Then whats the point of having such a huge Balai Police with huge ample parking space, when you can't allow me to settle my summon.
And the police force have computers networked all over Malaysia, so why can't they accept payment in any balai police?

After that, when I was in office, I tried to use MYEG to pay my summon, and for that, MYEG charges extra RM 2 for the service fee (while RILEKS doesn't, but sadly, they are not accepting payment for the moment).
But it was abit of a hassle using MYEG during payment, and after a while, I gave up for the day, and continued my work.

Where to find shop for retreaded tyre for cars

I have heard of retreaded tyres for trucks and buses, now I want to find retreaded tyres for cars.

Heard that it's cheap and usable, of course the tyre performance is so-so & acceptable.

Anyone knows of a shop which sells retreaded tyres for cars?

Mine is currently 13", riding on a 175/70 R13 tyre.

Where can I sell my faulty spare parts for recond?
