Doorbell Wire - Does it break easy?

[attachmentid=10109843]

This is a photo of my existing doorbell wire of my new house.

I am planning to install a new Video Intercom doorbell. But the installer is suggesting to lay a new wire/cable from my house electrical DB all the way to the pillar. The reason is because the doorbell wire provided by the developer breaks easily.

Is this true?
