QUOTE

Private Sub Form_Load()

MSComm1.CommPort = 1
MSComm1.Settings = "9600,N,8,1"

If MSComm1.PortOpen = False Then
    MSComm1.PortOpen = True
End If

End Sub
______________________

Private Sub Command1_Click()

MSComm1.Output = "A"
Text1.Text = "OK"

End Sub
______________________

Private Sub MSComm1_OnComm()

Text1.Text = MSComm1.CommEvent

Select Case MSComm1.CommEvent
Case comEvReceive
    Text1.Text = Text1.Text & MSComm1.Input
End Select

End Sub
_______________________

Private Sub Form_Unload(Cancel As Integer)

If MSComm1.PortOpen = True Then
    MSComm1.PortOpen = False
End If

End Sub

This is my full code. The VB apllication will send char 'A' to my hardware then the hardware will return char 'B' to my application. The problem is I can send the 'A' but I never receive the 'B'. And the function OnComm() are never called.

Below is the other configuration:-

inputLen = 1
SThreshold = 0
RThreshole = 1
MicroController ASM Language

Hi there,

Anyone know how to program Intel microController and the project should connect to a serial port at your pc.

I want to make a project that controlled from a PC and it Hardware project. I prefere to use Intel 8051 or Intel 2051 uC. Now I want the code for both the uC and the application on my PC. For PC application I prefered to use C language.

Plzzz. It very important for me.
