So I've just got a new job with another FI in SG. Been working year for approximately 1 months and things were great!

Energetic IB with experienced professionals who are eager to get more deals, grow returns etc

However, I have this one particular chick who has been working here for around 3 years plus kind of being too friendly with me, like I get tons of text's from her, keeps asking me out for lunch, comes up to. my desk and has a lot to talk and kind of admitted that shes into me.

How do you guys deal with such issues ah ?

it is still trading pretty close to USD10K

Registering a Business Name

Hey guys, so I'm currently working as a full time employee in one of the organisations in Singapore (Malaysian here).

I am really keen in establishing a business sometime in the future however I do not want to risk the desired name of my business to be taken by someone else.

Read SSM's website about the ways to register for a business name and it's clear!

However, I need to clarify this, am I allowed to register for a business name without running a business ? I wouldn't mind paying the RM60/year fee as long as I could save that business name for me to be used in the future.

So i am just curious to know,

let say one has approximately RM 12,000,000 in hard cash being placed in various accounts.

How would you guys spend this money ?

Do note that these RM12m that i am talking about is not your net worth as it excludes houses that you've fully paid, depreciating assets that you fully own without owning the bank anymore (cars), investments in stocks, PE and a few start ups.

How would you guys go about spending this RM12M ?

How to Prevent Relatives from Visiting

so i know we Malaysians are friendly and usually emphasise family values such as being close with our relatives etc.

But i have an issue, i have a few relatives who just love to barge into the entrance and ring the door bell at odd times like without even calling and informing us that they want to visit.

We have told them politely to call prior to coming over the next round and they say yes but the same sheet happens, they just barge to the gate and ring the door bell.

Most screwed up thing is that although i live away from my parents, there is a high chance that i am going to bump into these "relatives" when i visit my parents.

Plus, the thing that drives me up the wall is that these people usually come to pay a visit and love to "dig up" stories, pry on personal stories and gossip

So i opened my Blockfolio app and my portfolio is down by approximately 53% from the high it achieved a few days ago.

Total lost is over 6figures

Now, I'm planning to pump in more money but I'm wondering whether should i pump in more more into my crypto or just hold my current portfolio and use my excess cash and change my car.

So tried out the new KFC dish last night after hitting the gym and it's safe to say that I am not a huge fan of it. Pineapples are cool but the sauce that they used on top of the chicken fillet was just bad, spoiled the whole taste in my opinion!

Moreover, if you're going to buy it from a drive thru and try eating it in your cars, good luck to all of you'll as it's going to get mess

GEORGE TOWN: ‘Laugh at me, but not at the Penangites.’

This was Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s message to state opposition leaders who criticised the way he treated Barisan Nasional leaders who visited flood-hit Penang recently.

Lim told reporters that he does not mind critics putting him on the spot and laughing at him.

“It is ok laugh at me, but never (laugh) at the victims, the Penangites who are suffering from the flood.

“What we should be focusing on is how everyone can bounce back from this disaster,” he said during a press conference at the State Legislative Assembly here today.

He was responding to state BN leaders who criticised Lim’s warm hospitality towards Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and other ministers who visited Penang recently.

Earlier, Datuk Roslan Saidin (BN-Pinang Tunggal) showed to the press pictures of Lim greeting Najib and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

During the debate session in the afternoon, Datuk Mahmud Zakaria (BN-Sungai Acheh) showed to the assembly pictures of Lim embracing Zahid.

“Just look at how he (Lim) hugged our deputy prime minister so tightly.

“What is more surprising is how he shook (Datin Seri) Rosmah Mansor’s hands. Remember how Lim reacted to them in the past? This is definitely a lesson for him,” he added.

So a couple of months ago, I used to see a number of people uploading pictures on FB/Instagram about this restaurant somewhere in KL that serves seafood especially prawns on the table without using a plate.

More like placing a sheet of paper kinda thingy and then serving the food on top of it.
