Hi..

This month i plan to upgrade my streamyx 4mb to Unifi 5mb. Last week i went to my friend house just to take a closer look on how TM staff set the unifi and iptv. I thought it was easy and hassle free job but its not like i thought.

First, they need 4 gang adaptor which my friend dont have, so i have to lend my adaptor to him.

Then, they said my friend tv too far and need to be place near to the phone port since they didnt have long RJ45 cable. So we had to move the tv cabinet. Heavy like hell..

After that the technician ask wether my friend have a lightning arrestor which is he and i also doesnt have.

So i have learn something. I should be prepare so that im not facing the same problem.

Is it any other things i should do and provide so that everything goes well. I also heard that if im using unifi and more to download things better for me to have router n wireless like ASUS RT-N13U Wireless-N Router which can download without switch on the pc.

Is there anyone here mind to share best layout and accessories for unifi users.

Can anyone suggest me best gaming rig spec for below RM1500. Im planning for upgrading my C2D rig so it can run latest great graphic game like COD or battlefied 3.

I already have:
- Dell Ultrasharp U2211H
- CM Elite 430 casing
- CM Real Power Pro 550W PSU
- Lite-On DVD
- Altec Lansing BXR1121

So, means left Proc+HSF, mobo, HDD, GC and RAM

Im prefering,
- PROC: Intel Core i5 2400 / 2500
- HSF: (anything)

Hi guys..

I have problem with my hdd here. It started when i put it in my cheapo hdd player and then BANG!!! I smell something burning. After take out the hdd from the damn player I notice that 2 IC (Integrated Circuit) have burnt mark on it.

My question is:
1. can i change the whole green board (donno what they called it) with the one which is same spec hdd. Because i feel the disk inside it not damage. 2. Is that possible thing to do?
3. If yes, do i need extreme skill to do that?
4. If yes, is there ppl out there can do it for me??

This is my hdd detail:

Maxtor (DiamondMax Plus 9, 160gb ATA/ 133 HDD, 3.5" series)

Guys... please advice...

Just now i filled up Celcom Exec 50 form, after finish fill it then the sales person told me that my name r blacklisted by this mxxxxrfxxker TM Touch (013).

For those who din know, TM Touch is one of telco which is so famous around late 1999. Remember starter pack for prepaid provide by this telco... price is around RM200 if i not mistaken. That is why i choose line.

After 1 year use it, i miss pay one month bill resulting my call being barred. I just ignore it and switch to ADAM (017). Then in middle yr 2000 (din remember exactly when) Celcom take over this TM Touch. First thing this Celcom does, they give 50% discount for any unpaid amount from TM Touch bill. So i take that opportunity to settle my bill. I paid 50% off my due TM Touch bill. The sales person said my name wont be blacklisted.

Untill today i know that whole thing just a crap... im being advise to settle this by showing the 50% bill that i have pay before to Celcom center... where can i find this year 2000 bill...

To make it easier, i have shortlisted this Canon Powershot model because i have working with it before this. I get these model from internet. Dont know the price yet.

So, for my criteria... I wish to have:
1. An easy to use one
2. Less than RM800 (More cheap more good hahaha)
3. Good for indoor and outdoor
4. Most important is, best picture quality

Sorry if my prob is not suitable here... just dont know where to put it...

Last night i went to court mammoth, plan to buy a new crt tv for my mom. Thinking just for normal use i plan to buy sony or panasonic 29" tv. After some q&a with the salesman he told me that sony n panasonic have stop producing crt tv because by 2010 all crt tv that doesnt come with HD Ready function (1080i) cannot being use anymore. He said all tv station including RTM will change their VHF frequency to Digital one. Come to worse when he said if this happen all low entry crt tv can only be use to watch vcd or dvd or for video games.

Is this real...?? Can anybody help me coz my mom tv now have turn into dust collector.

Can't transfer file

Guys... i have some problem here regarding transfering data in my old hard disk to my new pc hard disk.

This is the problem...

1. My old pc have some boot problem.
2. So i take out its hdd and put it in external hdd casing. Plug into new pc and its working as usual. I can explore my old data in it.

3. The problem begin when i want to transfer/copy my family photo collection from old disk (located in admin folder) to c drive in my new pc. Some picture cannot be copied to new pc which is also cannot be open to view but some picture that can be view have no problem to be transfer

Why is this happen? Izit related to admin folder? Before this my old pc have admin logon password. Is this the cause some photo cannot be view. But why izit affected to some picture only, why not all in that folder?

Please guys... help... so many memories in those picture...

Guys... what happen with my new pc here. All are ok except this crazy drive letter give me a headache. My pc have this 9 type of cardreader slot attach to it. I think problem came from this device. For this card reader they take lots of letter like C, F, G, E etc and detect as removable disk. Try to chance the letter in disk management tool but still cant lah.... Why.. why... please help me...

I plan to buy used GT Racing King Wheel (Topway brand) from one of the forumer around here. I would like to know wether this device support other PS2 racing games title beside GT4 (such NFS or Test Drive Unlimited). The box just have the Grand Tourismo 4 sign.

BTW the seller said that i need special cable (usb to ps2 cable) for me to play it on my PS2 coz he just used it on his PC which is the cable easily plug to usb port. I didnt know there is such cable like that in market?? All i know that i can used my usb port on my PS2, am i right?

Does anybody here have any information / know any shop that provide camcoder rental services for short time period. I need it to take some video on special event that will be held next month....

Still remember Sony have made a contest last year using rental Sony handycam or cybershot from authorized shop. If they still held the contest then it will be much easier for me but now I dont know what to do.
