Hi all,
Recently I'm offered to work in Singapore as an engineer with 1 year++ experience. Salary around SGD 2800. Currently I'm paid around MYR 4000. My concern as below. Pls enlighten this kampung boy with high dreams.
1. Does the company deduct levy or any other deduction from the SGD 2800?
2. What is the breakdown for normal Malaysian work at SG in terms of food, accommodation(As i don't think waking up 4am to travel from jb-sg is healthy), misc etc?
3. How SG manufacturing environment is compared to MY?
4. Assume I had saved around SGD 1500. If i save it and convert it monthly do I get 1500 x 2.9?
5. Am I underpaid at SG? because at MY I earn RM4k net pay.

Dilemma in career

Hi experts,
I recently got into my first job as Engineer at a local manufacturing company X(established). I like the job so far after 1 month of service and I'm paid 3k monthly.
However, after i joined company X, i got another local plantation company Y (established) who called me for an interview for plantation assistant manager position. I was shocked as I simply applied for the position and still got called.

My questions are:
1. Money could be deciding factor. How much does normal assistant manager earn?
2. Do I need to stay at my current job as personally it is okay so far after a month at company x? And work longer as I'm fresh graduate and i should not be greedy for position title or money.

Pls advice as I have very few who could help me in this matter. Drop ANY ADVICES.

Hey experts. I am fresh graduate. I have been offered a job position in local manufacturing company but the salary is lower than my expected salary. I received the offer through mail and I need to go on Monday to sign my offer. I am still in the mid of getting other companies calls for interviews and i am scared that I will accept this job and get better one later. 😕😕

I would like to ask is it appropriate to demand higher salary (plus minus rm200) before signing?? If yes, then how to I ask? Pls help.

Hi everyone. I need an opinion as I am very new in this matter.
I am a first class graduate of Bachelor of Science from reputable IPTS, currently working and wanting to pursue Masters in IPTA end of this year. My questions are:

1) Part time course means Saturday and Sunday classes? If yes, the class time will be around?
2) I was in Science and now want to go do MBA after few research because I'm more interested in climbing up organization ladder in future rather than MSC.
3) first class Bsc can go straight to Phd i heard? Any opinions?

Provide also your best take on best part time MBA course in IPTA. THANKS FOR ADVICES.
