[WTA] Solid wood worktop with undermount sink

Hi all Sifu out there,

Im currently looking for carpenter sifu who capable of cutting a sink hole on a 3.8cm solid wood counter top and install a undermount sink, such as photo below.

I'd bought Ikea kitchen cabinet system, but their installer said that it is impossible to install an undermount sink on a solid wood surface, main reason is they not able to cut the sink hole on the solid wood nicely.

Hi there, would like to seek some expertise opinion regarding concrete kitchen island.

What type of concrete mixture should i should use to achieve such surface finishing?

Is it just skim coat or some special concrete type ?

I'd found this premix concrete which have the result what i'm looking for and it just have to add water.

Any concrete which available in Malaysia which do the same job as the Quickrete?

I know there are some contractors specialist in such concrete product, which i'd approached before but the price is something out of my capabilities.

Most appreciate if someone did this type of concrete island before and could share me some information and experient.

Good day to all the Xania's owner... been looking for an offical Xania discussion thread but there ain't one (got one thread asking bout this project but didnt update anything).

Since im one of the owner, so i just share what i'd had with u all.

Update

Around early of Aug 2013:
Restoration of defects kick started!

Around end of July 2013:
Collection of keys, defect inspection with Site Manager (Ah Hou).

Around July 2013:
Received letter to call upon for key collection and defect inspection. FINALLY!!!

Around Jan 2013:
Lamp post, playground was installed. Toilet bowl was arrived and the living room tiles already been installed. Grass was planting around the area.
Water tank was up... but it blocked the only natural light source at the upper floor.

Around early March 2013:
Called up the property's sales personel (AiLeng) that she told me that the key will be ready by this coming April (still doubt bout it, but well i'm not rushing to move in anyway, just sharing the info)

Around March 2012:
Bought our unit with price of 560K before 10% discount.
