my computer restart

my computer will restart n then when trying to open again the windows Xp will come some message saying that got problem .... n i can open the windows again .... so i re format my hard disk ..... but after will reformat i thought the problem will solve... n then i think when i doing something suddenly the computer black out .... n want to open the windows XP also cannt .... got some option too choose so i choose safe mode to restore th windows .... n finally can open .... can anyone tell me what the problem ... thanks alot
