Hey, anyone noticed there's milo van outside petrol stations? I noticed some in Klang Valley. For those who knew, just curious are they giving out free milo? Or they are selling them? I have passed through at the main road, didn't manage to go in and ask

East West Link Lane Closure

May I know what is happening in East West Link? Right most lane has been closed for more than a month but I can't find any news. Traffic is worse as they approach this bottleneck. Around Danau Desa exit.

Tried to search but no results. Or am I wrong that it's not East West Link? Anyone has info about this and when it is expected to reopen the lane?

Dashcam for front and rear

Hello guys,

I wanted to purchase a dashcam for front and rearview. But I found those dashcam in lazada mostly not branded.

Do people buy a set of dashcam with dual cameras or two seperate cameras? Any advice / recommendation? Budget less than RM 300.

Replace air cond blower wheel/fan blade myself?

I was cleaning my air cond and when i tried to wiggle one plastic part around to get it out, my hand accidentally slipped and knocked out few blades of the fan blade or blower wheel.

This missing blades cause the wheel to be imbalanced which causes the cover to vibrate and noise can be heard. However this problem only occur at fan no.2 and 3. If set at no.1 everything is okay. But I dont feel comfortable knowing that something is not perfect.

So I'm wondering is it possible to find a blower wheel and replace it myself? Are all of them standard size and shape or should I find for my particular model? Where to find it?

Loss of Use and Greedy Workshop

Summary
I was involved in an accident and the other party as fault. I have sent my car to workshop but workshop is claiming Loss of Use into his own pocket.

Full Story
I had an accident with a Rapid KL bus and it was declared that the bus driver was at fault. However, I had no experience in claiming insurance after an accident. Hence, the sergeant recommended me a workshop to repair my car and claim insurance on my behalf. Stupidly, I have agreed to send my car to this workshop, thinking a recommendation from a sergeant must be trustworthy.

I drove my car back to my house and waited for the workshop to come and tow my car away. I was back home at around 8.30 pm and it was not until 12 am when the workshop owner and his friend came. Surprisingly, he came in a Proton Saga with his friend and not a tow truck. Then, he asked his friend to drive my car to the workshop and he drive his own car (or maybe it's not even his, probably other customer's too) back to the workshop. Does he has the right to do so? What if anything happened? And what about the mileage and fuel consumed?

Anyway, I provided him all the documents he needed (insurance policy, photocopy of identification card etc) and he will collect all the documents from the police station on my behalf. However, he said that due to the third party is a bus, I am not entitled to claim Loss of Use. Unsatisfied with his statement, I went on and confirm this statement myself. I had seek help from one of insurance claim expert here in Lowyat, Mr. Saigetsu and he said the workshop owner was trying to scam me.

So I called the workshop owner again and still, he told me the same story. If it's a bus, then no Loss of Use. He even dared me to ask others to confirm as well. And so I did. I asked him what is the insurance company of the bus? He said RHB. I called to RHB and they told me the bus driver was not under their insurance. But they are good enough to help me check and told me it was Allianz instead. So I went to inquire Allianz about this and they have stated that as long as the third party is at fault, I am entitled to claim Loss of Use. (Side note: Allianz insurance claim customer service was superb and friendly, thumbs up to them).

Then, I called and asked the workshop again and told him all the shit I have found out. He kept on asking me to go to his workshop to discuss this and he will explain everything to me. I refused as I was busy and it was not convenient to go his workshop as it was very far. Then he finally admitted that he planned to claim the Loss of Use into his own pocket to cover back the lawyer fees and others. However, I believed that all these fees are covered by the insurance claim. Tired of his bullshit and the hassle to follow up either, I decided to just let him have it his own way. Loss of Use claim was just a small amount, it just that him lying all this time angered me.

And now I'm wondering was the sergeant part of this or she did not has any clue about this. Purpose of me writing this is to share my experience in case others get into the same situation as me. Anyway, below are the details of the workshop whom have conned my Loss of Use:
