Air Con Installation contact in Penang

Hi all,

I bought a 1hp Panansonic Premier inverter aircon.

Does anyone have any contacts for air con installation service in Penang Island? Preferably a reliable one that does not overcharge.

From your experience, what is the price range for installation service?

My apartment is old, more than 15 years. According to the electrical shop where i bought the air con, the preexisting old piping may not be suitable for the newer type inverter air con. I was wondering how many type or air con piping are there?

Thanks in advance.

Donate used items in Penang

Hi, does anyone have a list of charity organizations ( including animal welfare organizations) that I can donate my used clothes, books and household items in Penang?

I'm decluttering my home and I have many unused items in very good condition. It will be a waste to recycle it so I thought of donating to the needy.

Would appreciate if anyone could give me a few ideas. Thanks!

Hi all, does anyone know where to repair violin in Penang? (both mainland and island)

I stopped playing it for more than 10 years ever since I went to Uni and started working. And now when I opened the case the hairs were all broken on the bow, and my soundpost also has fallen.

Appreciate it if anyone could give me any contact of any reliable and professional shop that doesn't overcharge.

Thanks!

Sequence during renovation

I plan to do floor tiling works for whole apartment 1100 sq ft + toilet, painting of walls and build new kitchen top + cabinet. I would like to know what is the sequence of works normally?

Do contractors usually include the kitchen ( plan to do granite top ) or better to ask kitchen specialist to build separately? Any one with experience who compared both options which is cheaper?

If so, what is the sequence for tiling, painting, kitchen works just in case I decide to ask different vendors to do it separately? Who should begin work first?

Thank you..

I have a question to ask and can't seem to find this answer anywhere...If I was divorced before, will my marriage certificate show "divorced" status when the 2 witness sign it during day of solemnization? Will they be able to know or see the status?

I know that when submit application 21 days before need to attach the divorce cert together with application form and that's fine because witness need not attend. . But I'm concerned as I'm not sure whether this divorce cert or any mention of my "divorced" status will also be visible to the witnesses on solemnization day.. cos I plan to keep this private between husband and wife only. Please help..

Setting up a home gym

Hi all, I am planning to set up a mini home gym. Any recommendations on where to get punching bag, Olympic weight bench and plates for a good price? I do not mind second hand if available.
I live in mainland Penang and there are very limited choices here, I have been to fitness and gym equipment shops in malls at mainland+Penang Island, but the price is too expensive.
Anyone has any experience in setting up a home gym? Appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance.

Social media influencers/bloggers-wat do u think?

What do you guys think of the marketing tactic of using 'social media influencers/bloggers' to market their business- cosmetics, beauty products, clothes and nowadays many of them are them promoting for the so called 'aesthetic clinics' esp in KL and Penang. Seems like the "in" thing now. Dun wanna name names, but u guys know who right?
Many of them end up looking like clones with the same fake plumped up filler lips , same double eyelid stitching, extremely pointed chin, and same straight eyebrows. All posing the same poses on social media, same jet setting lifestyle- vacationing and indulging in good food, going to the same cafes, staying at luxurious hotels, constant vacationing etc etc.. Wonder how much of it is real and who finances their expensive habits? Takkan all sponsored right?

Pandora bracelet + charms- hype?

I've noticed for quite some time that a lot of girls are showing off photos of their Pandora bracelet gifts by their boyfriends and I've always wondered if its just another silly hype. Is everyone buying just because they don't want to lose out to other girls?
Personally I find that they are very cheap looking and not worth the price at all. All the Pandora gift photos posted on social media are so annoying. I would rather get gold, as gold has more value and I really don't agree on exorbitant price that they are willing to pay for those tacky charms and bracelets.
What do you guys think?
