Hi, we are launching a platform, that connects businesses with e-hailing drivers. It works in simples steps below
1. Business offer vouchers (eg, Thai Massage RM50 off, Steamboat buffet for RM36)
2. Driver select voucher that they want to promote, then can print out the poster with QR code and put inside the car
3. Passenger of the car, sees the poster, if interested, then they can scan the QR code to claim the voucher.

Two type of rewards will be given depending on the shop
1. When someone claim the voucher
2. When someone use the voucher at the shop

Location like this, but maybe we do a cheaper version using paper

How do you keep track of your net worth?

Hi, what are the ways/apps/websites you all use to keep track of your liquid net worth. I had tried a lot of apps and websites before, but found them to be over-complicated. So had been using Google Sheets all this while.

Right now exploring if there are better options out there.

Doesn't need to keep track of all the income and expenses. Mostly just a summary of the balance that I have across all places (bank account, different crypto/stock exchanges, robo advisor and general places (FD), etc.

Do you see the need to use hardware wallet?

Single Owner open LLP strategy

Hi all,

I am setting up a business, and planning to register for a company which has limited liability, which left me for only two options, LLP and Sdn Bhd.

Since Sdn. Bhd. is relatively more expensive, then I decided to go for LLP.

But LLP requires at least two owners/partners, and so far I am the one and only owner of my business. I am planning to work around this by, for example, getting my siblings or gf to open this LLP with me, and we will have a partnership agreement that, will make them as less connected to the company as possible (Eg, no power in making decision, no profit sharing but will receive bonus if the owner deem appropriate, etc.)

Is this workaround doable? And is this breaking any law by any means?

Sole Proprietary & Tax Issues (Give owner salary)

Hi, would be appreciate if you all can help me to confirm a few things regarding Sole Proprietary (SP) and some tax things.

1. Can a SP give out salary to the business owner, and count that into business expenses? This is to reduce taxable income for SP and provide a salary track record for business owner to apply loan and credit card.

2. Business expenses. Do I need to specifically proof that it is for business or only need to keep a copy of receipt only? If need specifically how, how should I do that?

3. For a single owner, and limited liability company, the only choices is Sdn. Bhd.? As LLP need at least two owners.

Lenovo 320 VS MSI GL62M

Asking for recommendation between this two model, or willing to hear new suggestion from sifus.

I am a developer and looking for a laptop replacement. Currently dilemma among this two model, as Lenovo seems to have better CPU (spec wise), but MSI laptops seems to be higher quality. If Lenovo, I will also add another RM250 to add Ram to 8gb.

Would like to hear your opinions as well. Budget would be around RM3000 - RM3600.

Buy an Android which released more than 2 years?

Would you buy an Android phone which released more than 2 years ago? I am currently looking for a low end smartphone. Currently got three options to choose from. Just wonder that an Android that released for more than 2 years will have any cons or not, in terms of update, spec and support.
The phone is Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML.

Thinking about choosing one from these:
- Asus Zenfone 2, 2015 Jan, RM600, overall spec better
- Redmi 4a, RM500, worst spec among the three
- Redmi Note 4, RM735, spec can compare with Asus Zenfone

Phone just for normal usage, won't install games. Any opinion and recommendations is appreciate.
