CPU frequency

as u can see, my rig like the signature...
juz a few weeks ago, it had problem when boot in
its due to the cpu frequency, already on auto but it doesnt seem to work
need to boot in 2-3 times b4 it will load up effectively...

dvd-ram vs dvd-rom

what the different btwn them? all i know that dvd-ram can store data in it bout 4.7G

other than that, out of curiousity, why my dvd-ram cant read 2nd CD everytime I try installing software with 2 or more cds. Only dvds wont hav this problem? mine is DVD-RAM

I already been years since Diablo, Starcraft, Might & Magic released...

So, what happen this day? I can't even find any new version other than the previous one. Do the developer stop develop the game or the juz keep'g it in the dark...

All i see now that, there r patches for these game... I dont want patches, I want a new game / expansion!

does anybody know anything bout this?

actually I'm one of the guys who tried that hdd-in-a-freezer trick too and
it worked! the disk made funny noices and the bios said "no disk here, man".
listening to the repetetive noise I could tell it was a mechanical failure.
so I put the disk in a plastic box and left in the fridge for some time.
then I took it out and quickly connected (you don't want it to reach the
room temperature) to my pc. the bios welcomed the drive and i recovered
90Megs of data, i.e. everything stored on that disk. the explanation to that
was that the low temperature causes the mechanical parts of the disk to
shrink and everyting is "in its place" till the disk warms up. thus you gain
some time to get the data back...

I wonder if there's any data recovery method involving boiling the disk...

The BIOS wasn't able to detect the hard disk. So I did some searching on the internet and found a real crazy way to recover the data. Now it's important you do not put the hard disk in the refrigerator for too long. I put it in for about 30 minutes and then quickly attached the hard disk to an external hard disk casing and connected it to another computer via the USB port.

Surprisingly, it worked, the hard disk was detected and I copied the crucial data that the user needed to the computer as fast as I could.

I have done this a couple of times since then and it does worked. However, I found it will only work for a brief period of time. Usually, you will have a period of about 15 to 20 minutes so you need to copy as fast as possible to your computer once the hard disk is working.

Somehow cooling the temperature of the hard disk helps a lot. Here's another tip that I found. You can try tilting the hard disk sideways or at an angle about 60 degrees downwards. I found that by doing this, I can prolong the period by another 10 minutes or so.

However I like to caution you that only try this method when all other methods of recovering the data fails. There is a chance the hard disk is permanently damaged if it is in the refrigerator for too long.

Also, this method will only work if your hard disk is still spinning when powered up. If your hard disk does not spin and is dead in the water, then this method will not work.

Scholarship : Trouble!

Sumtime it hard to think about taking up a scholarship as we got attached to the company/university...

1 of my friend had to work for Petronas as she was taking scholarship during her time at UTP & she kinda got stuck with it eventhough she finish it with good grade... It takes years B4 petronas offer her a job! All this while she got to reject all the offer coming as if she work for other company, then petronas will take back the scholarship & nake her pay for all the Scholarship that they gave her b4.

As she didn't want too take the risk, she had to wait for the offer or she end up to pay for RM300K as petronas had send her to Australia for 2 years.
So, it better to rethink before taking any scholarship....

How to increase my income?

Do any1 hav any idea how can I increase my income or how to manage my salary?

I get about RM 1000 monthly & I already use up RM 450 of for things that r really important... excluding the RM 300 I spend on petrol, dine, tolls....

So, approximately I only got RM250 to spend for my own use, like shampoo, perfume, book, junk food etc.... most of them unnecessarily item!

Any1 can help me to invest my money into sumthing beneficial?

I juz wanna know, what is the perfect age to get married?

As we know, gurlz tend to lose their interest & will take anyone to be their husband when they reach 30, but guyz don't... So, when is the perfect timing to talk about marriage & future with ur gf... and also start a family with her?

Juz want to know how much gedikness u all can bear before it become too much & start'g to hate the person...
I'm 100% can't tolerate more than 1% of gedikness, it juz turn me off!!!
