Upgrading pc!

Well my 2nd pc need an upgrade its well over 3-4years old now.

Here are the specs:

Nvidia Geforce GTS 250
Intel i5 750
Power supply unit is Gigabyte 450watt/550watt peak. Forgot the model.

The above I want to just keep since my motherboard currently only supports ddr2 if I just want to upgrade my ram I only see 2gbx2gb sticks = 4gb max and I am using 4gb already.

So in order for me to get more ram only choice is to go for ddr3 because I cant find 4gbx2 for ddr2.

There are so many motherboard not sure which to choose but mainly so it can support my above mentioned because I dont want to spend too much over budget.

Purpose of upgrade: Multiboxing 5 clients WoW/Rift.

Edit: Bought 2x4gb=8gb of kingston value ram thanks to sifu who told me about cpu-z I found out my mobo can support ddr3. Will update and see if sufficient.

Looking for a Headset

I am currently using a Steelseries 7H while I liked it alot but I get the sense that the usb soundcard that comes with it isn't as good as getting a better internal soundcard and a better headset.

Also considering the price of the 7H mine has a problem like either the left or the right ear cups have no sound at all and I have to adjust my headset accordingly to get sound coming from both. But now as hard as I did that it seems like the left cup has just died and had to occasionally pull/tug the cables for the sound now.

Could someone advice if I should:

1: Get "xxxxx" Headset (eg.Razer/Sehensier/Steelseries other brands do recommend) that comes with a soundcard?

2: Get both "xxxxx" Headset (eg.same as above) and get a separate internal sound card (do recommend which brand or model)

3: Just get a internal soundcard & send 7H for RMA

4: _____ (<-- insert your recommendation here if none of the above complies)

I appreciate you reading and taking time to give me advices on how I should proceed.

Problem description: My housemates keep downloading stuff without my permission and as house owner im gona take matters into my own hands... that is by banning them... but no idea how... anyone here able to give help?
