Problem details
I am not sure if this is the correct section but I am trying to do a tracert and everytime I do so, the 2nd steps and beyond gives me "Request timed out". The weird part is that I can connect the web fine but somehow tracert is not working. I have disabled the windows firewall, as well as the modem/router's firewall. Anyone has any insight?

The Orange Box Party 2008

Subang Parade will be the centre of attraction again and this time it will be for The Orange Box Party! Featuring the first ever local Team Fortress 2 tournament, it will surely satiate the thirst of the FPS crowd. Not to forget our Counter Strike players, the CS 1.6 Amateur Cup 2008 tournament will also be under way. So don't forget to train up and get your crosshairs steady and dead centre on the competition. The fun doesn't end there because Subang Parade shoppers will be able to use their receipts (RM 100 or more in a single receipt) to receive discounts on our retail packs which we will be selling on that day. So keep your calendar clear for the 5th to 8th of June.

List of team and players who are not allowed to join the Amateur Cup: Check at Asian Cyber Games website

Substitute players must be registered under the team as well. So please do so. Sub players cannot play for other teams at the same time. We only allow subbing to occur as a last course of action (ie one of the main lineup got sick). And after subbing has occur, the lineup will stay that way until the end of the tournament. This is true for CS 1.6 Amateur Cup 2008 and the TF2 tournament as well.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE (CS 1.6 Amateur Cup & TF2):
You can grab empty registration forms from the shop below and hand them there. You also can download the registration forms, print it out, fill it up and hand it in to the shop. Since there is a team limit for the tournaments, it is on a first come first serve basis. If the slots for each tournaments are filled, you can still register but your team will be on the waiting list. The registration counter is at:

- Registration will be on the 5th of June 2008, from 10am to 11:30 am. Tournament starts at 12pm.
- Prizes :
Champion - RM 500 + prizes
2nd place - RM 250 + prizes
3rd place + 4th palce - prizes

Day of Defeat 1.3 and Guild Wars Tournament

Here's a treat for all you Day of Defeat 1.3 players out there. Blaze City Cyber Cafe will be hosting a 6 vs 6 tournament just for you guys! At the same time, there will also be a Guild Wars Hero Battle tournament. Its Hero Battles, scrimmage format. Meaning that its a 1 vs 1 with 3 heroes on each team played in a Guild Hall. So train up for this 22nd.

Registration is open now and needed to be emailed to admin[at]e-clubmalaysia[dot]com. Just copy out the text from the pdf files and then fill in the necessary fields. For DoD players, all the players need to fill in the registration forms.

There is a Counter Strike tournament coming right up in conjunction with Asia Game Zone Games Exhibition and it will be open to amateur teams! Why, you ask? Because its called the Amateur Cup.

Counter Strike 1.6 Amateur Cup Tournament

32 max teams and you need to sign up as fast as possible because the registration fees will be RM 50 for teams that register before the 25th of June 12 pm. For late teams, the registration fees will be RM 100 instead.

You can grab the registration forms here and send them to admin[at]asiancybergames[dot]com. The registration forms are in pdf format but you can still copy out the text and fill them in. Please, only send .doc, .rtf or .txt file formats only.

Kedah Cyber Games Counter Strike 1.6 Tournament

There's a lot of Counter Strike 1.6 lovin because there will be another CS 1.6 tournament! This time it will be organised by the Kedah State government! The team limit will be 32. Just to clarify some parts, the registration fees will be RM 50 for teams that register before 4th of June 12pm. However, the registration fees will be RM 100 for teams that register after that time period. So, early registration is highly recommended.

Just from the ACG website, there will be a Counter-Strike: Source (CS:S) friendly match at Blaze City cyber cafe. This will be a good time for clans to train for CS:S. But there will be a limit of 8 teams only so first come, first serve. More info can be found at the site.

E-club has been suggesting tournaments to be run in 4 cyber cafes for this month till the beginning of December. Its a 4vs4 tournaments. Initially we planned it to be a rookie tournament but because of the new nightfall patch, decided to make it for current players as well. Anyway, the tournaments that are going to be run in order are KAOS Cafe, Point Extreme Cafe, FTZ Asia Net Cafe, Autumn Breeze Cafe. And the finale' will be at Cathay Cineleisure Damansara. Check it out here doods! So find a team and join! If for instance you registered for KAOS cafe tournament and lost, you can still join the other cafe tournaments till you win!

e-club MYGO Guild Wars Nightfall Release Event

Ok guys, this is confirmed. There will be an event for the Nightfall release on the 29th of October 2006. Its on a Sunday and will be held at the e-club headquarters. There will be lucky draw and the prizes will range from T-shirts (20), Guild Wars pins and also posters. Up to this moment, this are the only confirmed details. More details will be announced so do not fret. Also, for those of you that bought the bonus pack from MYGO and have the rebate, you will have the opportunity to buy the retail pack or the collector's edition on that day as well. So, mark the day on your calendar and for those of you that 'balik kampung'ed, make sure you come back by the 28th .

I am wondering are there any Day of Defeat (DoD) players/ clans in Malaysia. FYI, DoD is a Source engine game that focuses on the WWII European theatre of operations. Players choose a role and tackle goal-oriented missions based on historical operations. However, if you want to check out more about the game, click here.

FYI as well, DoD is one of the official games that will be featured in Asian Cyber Games.
