SINGAPORE — Foreign worker levies for all S Pass and work permit holders, including foreign domestic workers, will be waived for the duration of their stay-home notices from January till September, said the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

In a press release on Thursday (April 1), MOM said that the move is to help employers manage the increased costs associated with additional measures set in place to reduce the risk of importing Covid-19 into the community.

Since January this year, entry approvals for work pass holders were limited and newly-arrived S Pass and work permit holders — including foreign domestic workers — were required to undergo on-arrival testing and serve 14-day stay-home notices.

“While employers have cooperated with these measures in the interest of public health, some have given feedback that these additional measures have also translated to increased costs,” MOM said.

In other country during quarantine i can order omakase to hotel and almost everything... Money i spend happily ..

Just went Sg business talk then invite foreign business partner to see2 Msia.. Mahai..

Daily 3 Meals Food
Msia win although simple but sedap
Sg meals complete with Magnolia fruit drink, fruit (apple, banana or orange), 1 meat, 1 vegie , side dish and rice but 14 days.. yuck

Hotel Accomodation
Sg Win - room comfortable and clean, suite with kitchen, living room and bedroom, every day can change towel, bed sheet
Msia - mcam jail and dirty for the amount I paid... Ptui.. i really think someone up there decide the hotel with under table payment

Process and Procedure
Sg win all the way - Don't need to fill up extra form, update sent to your phone or email
Msia kalah teruk -> 3rd world country, need go through 3 counters, fill up similar form at each counters

Service level
SG win top -> can order grab food, panda food, order omakase, michelin food, groceries almost everyday anytime and recept will delivery to you door step
Msia -> can only order fast food a specific hours (KKM hello..fast food bad for you), and most bodoh directive is cannot order Fruit to makan ( oi KKM fruit keep me happy and strong )

Hotel Quarantine Costs -> SG Win, SGD$2K for 14 days

Conclusion
KKM need improve alot with the quarantine process, now is macam you paid money to go jail... need improve like Singapore, service level Top.. although quarantine hotel...
