My 2013 Honda crz bought in 2018/10 for rm62,000 is now offered rm38,000 as buyback.

If you go google it, the price being asked is from rm45,000 to rm60,000.

Doing the sum, dealers make a hefty profit of at least rm22,000?

I have also gone for the bidding route like carsome. Same offer!

Then, when I look at my insurance ... aah it is also insured at only rm38k. Now only see when I want to re-new. A bit late bro!

50% profit. Not bad eh? Of course, they have to hold the car in case no buyers. Still 50% profit.

So, what do you need to know? Here's a tell-all synopsis (don't be angry ha Marcus*):

Upshifting problem of Getz

My hyundai getz 1.4 model 2004 is an automatic and for some reason every now and then it wont change gears, it will rev right up to the red line before it does ... or not. Once, it burned up the plugs thingy and I had to tow it to the workshop!

What I usually do (as advised by my mechanic) is to stop, wait for the computer to reset, then it's cured. Sometimes, it's not cured and I have to stop/start a few times.

The solution, apparently is to replace the "xxx" sensors but after googling I found that a lot of similar Getz owners have done that BUT the problem comes back. Yes, even with some expensive trans oil change.

Maybe it's an inherent problem?

Anyway, can any sifu help me at all? Or point me to a similar thread.

apple cider vinegar cure for psoriasis?

After a friend told me that he had his head psoriasis cured by apple cider vinegar (ACV) I went to google it and hey more than 700,000 results.

Mine is on my leg, so have to see how it goes. Today is day one (will update when it works).

I couldn't find Bragg (with mother*) ACV which is supposed to be the rolls royce of ACVs but I managed to find a Heinz ACV. Trusting the Heinz brand. 946mL (1 qt) for RM17.90 at guardian. Remember to get unfiltered, not pasteurized and made from whole organically grown apples ACV.

* The cream of the crop is organic ACV with what is known as the “mother”, a little tangled clot of enzymes, bacteria and living nutrients. It is created during the fermentation process and is the most nutritious thing in the whole bottle!

Have any of you consumed/applied ACV on your psoriasis and "cured" it? Or, at least stopped the itch?
It's reportedly un-curable.

Psoriasis is also triggered by "pressure". Now, I'm in a less pressured job, I am hoping this will work.

The side effects she talks about could also be caused by many other foods or factors. She said it gives her diarrhea. Well, of course it does and it's because I want you cleaned out. Married ... like decades ... a lot have passed under bridge.

But now after wife's teenage 2 dotters (who were my step dotters, yes she was divorced, so was I) have moved out after a biggee quarrel with me, the wife is oh-so-cold.

Just now, msg-ed her, why u like this now ... she angrily called up n screamed, "why u suddenly tell me these things...?" I replied I just wanna know how I can change/do to be back like our paktor days (fornicating like rabbits ). Silence. Then, she says, "better not talk".

Haizz. How lah? Life is passing by ya?

BTW, we have a son (6 years old this year) of our own. I am sure he is the only glue that has kept us together ... although like strangers.

A bit of background: I used to earn more than her (raised her 'ungrateful' dotters) now she earns more than me -- no wonder she so 'action' nowadays... spending her money like no tomorrow.

On the morning of June 9, 1946, the 20-year-old Ananda Mahidol, King Rama VIII of Siam, was shot through the head and killed in his bedroom in the Barompiman Hall building in the Grand Palace complex in Bangkok. Later that day his 18-year-old brother Bhumibol Adulyadej was proclaimed King Rama IX. Bhumibol has reigned ever since: he is now an old and frail man, confined to Siriraj Hospital on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River that weaves through the capital, but he remains Thailand's king.

Officially, the killing is described as a mystery, one of the world's most extraordinary unsolved crimes of the past century. In reality, it has long been clear who killed Ananda. The truth has been suppressed by Thailand's establishment, partly through use of the draconian law of lèse majesté, Article 112 of Thailand's criminal code, which has been used to criminalize open and honest discussion of Thai history and politics.

Within minutes of Ananda's death, the crime scene was deliberately tampered with to hide the evidence of what really happened. Those who were in the Barompiman Hall that morning have never publicly revealed the truth of what happened, and only one of them remains alive: King Bhumibol himself. It seems likely that he will never reveal what happened, and will take his secret to the grave. The official investigation into Ananda's death considered three possibilities: that he was murdered, committed suicide, or shot himself by accident.

BANGKOK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Thailand's King Bhumibol
Adulyadej, who was the world's longest-reigning monarch, died in
hospital on Thursday, the palace said in an announcement. He was
88.
King Bhumibol reigned for seven decades after ascending the
throne in 1946. His loss will be deeply mourned in Thailand,
where he was regarded as a pillar of stability during decades of
political upheaval and rapid development.
The palace did not give a reason for his death but he has
been sick in hospital with various ailments for much of the past
year.
"His Majesty has passed away at Siriraj Hospital
peacefully," the palace said, adding he died at 15:52 (0852
GMT).
His son and heir apparent, the 63-year old Crown Prince Maha
Vajiralongkorn, is expected to become Thailand's new king.
Parliament was due to meet in a special session later on
Thursday after a meeting of the cabinet, a legislature official
said.
Anxiety about the king's health and the succession has
formed the backdrop to over a decade of political upheaval in
Thailand that has included two coups.
More than 1,000 people gathered at the hospital where the
king had been staying. Many of them started to cry as the news
of his death broke.
"I feel so saddened by this news. He has given so many
things to the country," said Apinut Jaroonpipatkul, a
25-year-old medical student.
King Bhumibol was seen as a force for unity, and there have
long been concerns that without him the country's divisions
could worsen.
That seems unlikely under the military government of Prime
Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, who has kept a tight grip on power
since toppling an elected government in 2014.
Prince Vajiralongkorn has yet to command the respect and
adoration that his father drew after a lifetime on the throne.
He has kept a lower profile than King Bhumibol for most of
his life but in the past two years took on more of the public
duties the king was no longer able to perform. The prince
divorced his third wife in 2014.
Thailand's strict lese-majeste laws has left little room for
public discussion about the succession. It has been so long
since Thailand has had a succession, there is no modern
precedent.
Thailand is expected to be in mourning for months and
possibly longer, and the prince's coronation will not take place
until that mourning period is over. When the king's sister died
in 2008, a 100-day mourning period was declared. She was
cremated 10 months after her death.
The king was seen as head of an institution central to Thai
identity and as a father-figure to the nation.
