Hi there,

I am a newbie to Visual Basic 2008. I have 0 knowledge about VB before but would like to explore it to build some simple system and then further to explore it.

All the gurus out there please kindly introduce any good reference book about Visual Basic 2008. I have found a lot of books start to explain from very fundamental programing theory but i prefer to find a book more focus on "application" as i have a certain amount of knowledge about programming.

Hi there,

I had installed Cygwin on my Windows Vista, however the default shell used is bash.

I would like to change the default shell to c shell but i am not able to due to the Cygwin does not recognise me as an administrator.

Can anyone advice me how to set myself as admin at Cygwin through Windows Vista?

how to decline an offer by MNC?

If one people had applied for a few jobs, then received a few offers at the similar time then

1. should him accept all the offer (oral confirmation) then just decide after receiving all offer letters?

2. Can anyone reject the offer after signed the offer letter if he got better offer later?

3. How to reject offer? What should we say/ not say?

Hi,

Anybody know about Toshiba Global Recruitment Programme to find suitable Malaysian fresh graduate to work at Toshiba base in Japan. This is not a kind of relocation/training, but it is kinda looking for permanent employee in Japan.

The starting pay is bout 200k yen (about RM6k).

Anybody has comment about this? Anybody know the working condition in Tohiba base in Japan?
