Bike for daily commute

Hi Sifus,

I'm planning to get a new bike for my daily commute to work. Not sure if similar thread exists. If it does please remove this one yea.
Here's the scenario and I'd like to get some recommendations from the sifus here.

I'm currently working in KLCC area (traffic is bad ) and using Yamaha FZ150i to work. I'd say the low maintenance cost and fuel consumption make FZ one of the best bike to commute to town. However, recently my butt itchy and planning to upgrade the bike to some bigger cc bike as riding FZ on the highway is a bit boring. I have B full license and was using Versys 650 for daily commute back then. Last year I sold my 6 years old versys and downgrade back to FZ for some personal reasons.

Recently, I come across with this BMW G310R/GS310 and it seems like this is the perfect bike to commute in town. The power is adequate for town use and it's not as heavy as Versys which makes town maneuver a terrible experience. More importantly, the price is <RM30k and I can purchase this bike by cash. In addition, I don't really mind the maintenance cost (I know BMW bike is not cheap) and I all need is something that is fun to ride and probably good looking as well.

So sifus sekalian, any recommendation for a sub 250/300 cc bikes that costs around RM25k-30k?

Hi all,

I'm newbie in home audio equipment. Recently, I saw this home theater system, LG BH9320H in a shop and the price is RM1499.

I had personally asked the shopkeeper to test the sound for me and it seems pretty good to me, the plus point would be the price tag i guess. I'm a cheapo

Anyway, I'm not hardcore audiophile and will be using the set for PS3, PC gaming, listening to some music and connect to my cheapo android media player to watch movie.
I'm thinking if it's worth to get because someone told me to get a AVR + 5.1 speaker seperately. The thing is my budget is not high, only ard 1.5k. So what say you, guys?

hi there,
my fren owned a HP Pavilion dv2201TX Notebook PC with 120gb hdd. He bought a new 320gb hdd recently and plan to migrate all the data from old 120 gb to the new hdd. When he inserted the new hdd and try to recover the OS (vista) through the recovery disc and weird things come out.. the recovery disc say the hard disk is not detected or incompatible. Then, he tried to boot the notebook with window xp sp2 disc. However, the windpws xp installation also prompt the same error message which is the hard disk is not detected. So, what should he do now because the old hard disk is no longer stable anymore and he need to migrate all data to new hdd asap..
there have been some issue installing win xp on this notebook due to the sata driver.. is there any guide to install xp or win vista on new hdd? ur help is very much appreciated.. thx in advance..

ASUS P5B premium

hi all sifus and pros there..
i faced a very weird problem. My new Asus P5B premium which bought last week sudenly cant install the on board sound driver. The first time i install was ok. After using few days, there was a message pop up stated that my SoundMax detect hardware changes then need to reinstall it. The thing is i didnt even touch any hardware setting once i had fully set up the computer. After that, i m forced to reinstall the driver. then the problem comes, the asus mobo disc which has the installation file told me that my sound card driver is not compatible for my sound card. I had no issue at all for the first few days as i can play music using tat on board sound card. Now i even reformat my pc to install the sound card driver again. No matter what i had tried it still failed to install the driver. I checked the bios setting already. my on board sound card is set to ENABLE. Please help me to solve this problem. Thx in advance.

Problem description: I had bought a Belkin PCI network adapter which supports 802.11b/g for my desktop pc. However, i encountered frequent disconnection whenever i try to connect to the wifi modem router. My router is placed on upstairs and my desktop pc is placed downstairs. When i used my notebook to detect the signal strength beside my desktop pc i found that the signal strength is 4 to 5 bars. Same goes to my N79 which has wifi features. Both device shows that the signal is very strong. However, my desktop wireless cards somehow indicated that there is no wifi signal around. I have tried to reinstall the driver and adjust the antenna. But then again, I still cant solve this problem. Sometimes i can only get around 11Mbps or 36Mbps only. Then the signal will drop. Expert advice is urgently needed. Thanks in advanced.

Explorer.exe problem

Recently, i hv found out tat when i close my document, my music, my computer and etc, it will lags several seconds (*around 5 seconds to 20 seconds. Sometimes it juz hang there*) before it close completely. When i click "X" on the top of the right area or right click it to close it, it seems hang a while there. I hv done all the test by kaspersky and spyware doctor. I also deleted some of the trojan and viruses. However, the problem still exists even i repair my windows once using windows cd. I have no idea y it happens. Hence, im asking some sifus and pro here help to solve this problem. i posted up my hijacklog as well. A million thanks in advance.

Can 4850 work on PCI ver 1.1 slot

Im planning to get 4850 to replace my 7600GS. However, i've found tat 4850 uses PCI-E 2.0 slot. My mobo is only PCI-E X16 (the version i believe is 1.1 as my mobo is ald 2 yrs old.) so, can 4850 work on this slot? Will it affect the performance of the card.

*As i know the PCI-E 2.0 has higher bandwidth than version 1.1

may i know how to format a 4GB memory stick under FAT16 format? this is used for PSP. I've heard that it needed to be done under command prompt. I do not know the syntax of formatting in DOS. anyone can help me? currently my MSPD is in FAT16 format. I just want to know how to do it in case of emergency.

how to set DLink DSL-2540T

I just bought a new modem router which is DLink 2540T with 4 ports. However, I do not know how to set the configuration. I had tried the "run wizard" feature which only need to key in my streamyx account only. I do not manage to connect to internet. I do not know the reason as I had follow the instruction provided by DLink. When i tried to use quick installation feature provided in the cd it prompted out and tell me that it could not detect my modem or my ethernet card was not installed properly. In fact, all my peripherals drivers are up to date. I can connect to the modem page which is 192.168.1.1 and the adsl status is connected. When i want to connect to the internet in the status page it just failed to connect. What is the problem? Anyone can teach me how to set the modem so that i can connect to internet. A step by step guide is needed for me as I'm still new to set the modem up. A million thanks to everyone.
*my status LED blinking all the time. ADSL LED is stable. LAN status ok too.
**currently using my old Aztech modem to online. I need the guide as soon as possible. ^^

cpu usage 100% and the date is rolled back to 1907

Hi, well this is my problem encountered in my gf laptop. When the laptop in login to win xp the cpu usage remain 100% all the time. Furthermore, the system date has been rolled back to 1907. We need to reset the date so that the anti virus able to function as normal. We had tried to scan whole system by using AdAware and Kapersky anti virus. There were only a few spyware (eg. cool web search toolbar) and no virus was found. So, what is the root of this problem? The laptop is using win xp service pack 2 and it is up to date. Any solution for this problem?? Thanks in advance ^^

PC cant boot after restart

I need some technical support from all the PC expert. well, my pc facing some problem.. here is the scenario.. i use my pc to transfer file to my hp via bluetooth. when the file is transfering my pc restarted. when it boot again it fail to do so. i cant see the bios neither heard the "beep" sound in POST. my monitor showed no signal detected. i switched of the power supply n let it for few mins to clear the memory in RAM. however, after couple mins i still fail to boot. i had experienced this kind of situation few weeks ago but somehow the pc able to boot again. now my pc cant boot at all. im using win xp and my window is not corrupted. i also had try to use vista and the same thing happen again. when my pc hang in vista i reboot it and i cant see anything in POST. is my motherboard having some problem?? or other hardware?? well this is my pc spec:
