I am graduated as a Mechatronics Engineer, currently got a job at an engineering company.

Been offered by OSK in their Graduate Associate Program.

I have asked around that this program does not prepares their employees to become a trader/fund manager.

So may I ask with my qualification may I ask how can I become a trader/fund manager ?

I really this advice, if anybody knows somebody that can advise me professionally, I am more than willing to pay consultation fee.

Been called up for a phone interview and going for an assessment in Singapore on the 21st of Feb.

If pass assessment only then can get an interview.

I believe a lot of Malaysians engineers who have taken the 4 year course may find that they are not really into this field after all.

I am one of them, a fresh graduate.

As a Mechatronics Engineer, my options are wide, electrical, mechanical , computing...

The thing is, I do not really have a definite goal in engineering. I developed an interest in finance and have been trader for stocks during my year in Uni. Most of the things I read are on finance too, not engineering.

I applied for both engineering position and analyst positions in financial service firms.

If into engineering line, I will definitely be into own business.

If financial service line, be at least a trader with comfortable lifestyle.

So, my question is. if you have graduated as a engineer and do not like engineering.

What career path have you taken and how you are doing now ?

Hi I have been having this problem for some time and I have been trying to find solution on the net too.

Nothing helps.

I am running on Windows 7 and Windows Vista on another computer to try.

Using also D-link 2640T given by Streamyx for Cool Unipack.

What happens when computer boot with empty HDD ?

I want to ask :

What will happen to the computer when I boot my computer with an empty HDD ?

Cuz I want to change from 250GB to 640GB.

But my Windows everything is in the 250GB. Will it cause problem ?

Do I have to insert a Windows Installation CD together when I decide to boot the computer with an empty HDD ?

Split second freezing on desktop

I have recently added 2 x 1GB kingston 667mhz ddr2 ram to my desktop, which has an existing 2 x 1 GB kingston 667mhz ddr2 ram as well, making it 4GM of ram.

And I realise there is some split second of freezing on my desktop.

I bought a 2GB kingston 667mhz ddr2 after that and replace one of my 1GB ram, also the same problem exist.

As soon as I remove the 'extra' ram, leaving the original 2 x 1GB ram, my desktop would not have the split second freeze.

I am using Intel DP965LT motherboard.

seems like there are some limitation to what RAM I can use, depending on the 'SDRAM technology' of the RAM I bought,
I can have a different amount of RAM to use.

But I suppose that 4 x 1GB Kingston 667mhz ddr2 is supported by this MOBO according to the website right ??

I will be getting a Q6600 processor tonight. The second hand processor i be getting wont be coming with a heat sink though, only fan.

So my question is does this processor need to have a heatsink? Or can just do without? Can all processors survive without heatsink?

I have recently upgraded my power supply and my ram.

It was fine for a few days without the sound 'zzzzzziiiiii', and during the during of this buzzing sound my computer will just hang for that 1second.

This started when yesterday i just installed and played starcraft 2 it starts to have this problem.

Before that no. Anybody knows why ?
