Second hand violin

Hello folks!

I'm going to attend violin lessons in couple of weeks. My instructor advised me to get a violin first. Today I went to several stores to do some survey. Since, I'm just a beginner I decided to get a second hand violin. Coz, new violins can cost up to rm 500!! Then I came across one store. They sold second hand violins. Both 3/4 and 4/4. Both priced at rm 200. I decided to get the 3/4 coz, I'm a petite girl. My arms and fingers are short. And I feel much comfortable holding the 3/4. The 3/4 violin sounded much warmer. The full violin tone was a bit 'nasal '.

Price wise, both were rm 200. Then, the shop owner reduced the price of the 3/4 violin to rm 150 coz the casing zip was spoilt . Do you think its a reasonable price? Rm 150 for a second hand 3/4 violin with spoilt casing zip? Just want to know if it was worth it or did I just got ripped off?

Btw, it's a China brand.

Salary of clinical psychologist in Malaysia

Holla! I have decided to pursue degree in psychology in iumw. After completing my degree, I'm interested to pursue a masters and a PhD in clinical psychology. I know there are very limited number of clinical psychologist in Malaysia. So, I guess it has a good prospect in Malaysia especially in future. I was wondering, what is the average salary of a clinical psychologist in Malaysia. If I were to go for lecturing, may I know how much will the salary be? I absolutely enjoy teaching. I'm currently tutoring students in a tuition centre near my place.

Are there any clinical psychologist here? Could you please share your experience working as a cp?

Computer science at iumw

Hello everyone.. I'm going to pursue my degree soon.. in a couple of weeks time. But, I'm soooo stressed and confused about choosing a course. I'm from pure science back ground. My bio and chem is pretty good. But, my physics sucks!

Initially, I planned to take biotechnology at iumw. But, most biotech graduates in Malaysia either end up as sales person or work in other field totally not related to their field of study. So, biotech is out of my choice.

My second choice is computer science. I'm not really a computer expert. Still learning about it.. Like cloud technology etc. I'm planning to study CS in IUMW. But, when I compare the program module with other unis like MMU or APU, IUMWs modules seems 'basic'. MMU modules seems dasyat! 😂

Another reason for me choosing iumw is the cheap tuition fee. The degree would cost around 45k. Compared to MMU which is almost 75k!!!
So, I'm really confused here.. hope you could share your input about this so that I could decide the best for my future.
