Hello. I am currently renovating my house and intend to install steel security mesh and aluminum mosquito netting. Double storey. Location Shah Alam. A couple of questions:

1. Anyone knows what is the standard rate for stainless steel security mesh per sq ft for folding door {5panel}?
I went to one of those home expos to check prices and was told a quote of about 9K for 11ft X 5ft for folding window. Ant feedback?

2. Any recommendation for installer in the Shah Alam area? Cost friendly not breaking the bank kinda company.

How to improve Wifi signal

Hello everyone,

I live in a double storey link house. And currently have Maxis Home fibre 30Mbps.
The internet upstairs in our bedroom is very very poor - sometimes even non existent when we close the door.
I can't get internet or its very poor when i use my laptop or phone in our bedroom.
Our internet connection is currently in the downstairs hall area.

What should i get to increase/boost/extend the wifi signal upstairs.

I did do some research and found that wifi extenders are better than repeaters (though I am still not to clear on the terminologies and how each is different).
Then i read there is something called a mesh as well.

And whatever gadget you recommend - is my 30mbps sufficient to increase the signal upstairs or do we need to get higher speed?
Or does it not matter on the speed?

We use the internet on our Laptop and smart TV as well as 2 handphones.

Please help a noob like me!

Gaming laptop for casual gamers

Hello everyone,

As we are stuck in the house during this MCO, we plan to get a gaming laptop to while out our time. We are not serious gamers. Looking for something that is durable and has good graphics and 17in screen. Budget up to RM 5K.

We have done some research and shortlisted the ASUS TUF 705g MEV262t. However some feedback through this site on other threads suggest that its cooling is not so great. We are not so hardcore users.....so not sure if this cooling issue is after 2 hrs, 4hrs or 8 hrs usage.

Requesting some advise/explanation on the cooling of laptops.

Also looking for any other recommendation with specs 17in screen and good graphics.

I am looking at a double storey inter-corner house in Bukit Jelutong, 4700 sq feet,, 5bedroom, 5 bathroom . We have spoken to the owner and he has asked us to make an offer. Does anyone know what is the price range for such houses in the Rabung area of Bukit Jelutong Shah Alam. The area is about 16 years old. Thank you.
